"Lack of Consistent Care and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
What they struggle with is communication. They can't talk to staff over the phone when they have questions. Also, there's been a lot of turnover in personnel. You never see the same people from week to week. People with dementia really need a consistent person who knows how to handle their emotions and problems.

"Caring Staff and Great Atmosphere, but Some Communication Issues"
I had informative tours and talked about different levels of care. The staff is very caring. I'm a little worried about staffing during the holidays. It's hard to talk directly with the floor nurse about medication. I love the atmosphere in the unit.

"Changed Needs Prompted Different Facility Choice"
I liked Brookdale University Park. The place was nice and had pleasant rooms. The food they served us that day tasted good. But our parents' needs changed after we looked around, so they ended up needing something else.

"Helpful Assisted Living Community for Seniors"
I think this community is good for others who have family members they need to find care for. It's important to be clear about the kind of care needed to make sure your loved one gets the right help. The staff here talk well with families and they answer quickly. They serve three meals every day. It would be good to have more kinds of people living here.

"Flexible Care at Brookdale University Park"
Brookdale University Park checked my mom, and initially, they thought she needed memory care. But after reevaluating, they decided on assisted living. We liked this choice because we knew she didn’t need memory care yet. They were very willing to reevaluate, and it was easy for our family. I’d recommend them to others—we’re happy as long as Mom is happy and well cared for.
