"Assisted Living Facility Review: Staff Shortages and Menu Issues"
I heard that right now they don't have enough workers in the kitchen and for cleaning rooms. The food choices they show in their brochures are from the main office (Five Star). But they don't stick to those menus very well.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience with Unmet Promises"
The place was handy, prices were fine, and it was clean. The people, especially the food folks, were nice. The boss assured us they could help our mom. But after she moved in, many promised things weren't there, which made us sad. Now we're searching for other options because they're charging us for three whole months even though Mom was there for only three days.

"Great Value and Quality at Morningside"
The place is really clean, and the costs and meals are impressive. It's been an awesome home for my 99-year-old mother-in-law. Morningside of Vestavia Hills has been wonderful overall. It's almost $[removed] cheaper than where she used to live. I totally suggest it, and I've told others too.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
Make sure to ask about how many staff they have. I heard that some staff got laid off since my loved one moved there, and I'm worried about how many staff there are compared to how many residents there are. The cleaning of the rooms seems good. They could do better with keeping the family updated. My loved one says that they don't like the food. I would tell others to think about going there, but they should know about the concerns I mentioned earlier.

"Pleasant Visit, Chose Different Facility"
We visited Morningside of Vestavia Hills and it was pretty good. The place was really nice! It was clean, the people were friendly, and it felt nice to be there. But we found another place we liked even more, so we decided to go with that one.

"A Place for Mom: Easy and Adequate Assisted Living"
I think they respond pretty quickly, but there’s room for improvement. They’re dealing with staffing issues, like everyone else. Overall, they’re okay and similar to other places we checked out. The facility seems a bit outdated. The apartments and dining rooms are fine, but maybe they could add more common spaces or a dedicated exercise room. A big shout-out to A Place for Mom—it was the easiest phone call we’ve ever made.
