"Great Place, But Closed Nearby Location"
I really enjoyed visiting Country Cottage, it was likely the nicest one we’ve seen. Sadly, they’ve closed down the place in Hoover recently, and their other spot is just too far for us to go to.

"Unsatisfactory Tour Experience at Country Cottage Assisted Living"
My family visited Country Cottage, but we didn't like it much. The tour wasn't great, and the place didn't seem nice at first. The room they showed us was really tiny, and we didn't like that the staff controlled the temperature. They called us later and said the Hoover location is shutting down, and they asked if we wanted to look at another place, but we said no because we weren't impressed with this one.

"Satisfying tour but cost and location were crucial for decision."
The place was pretty good, and we had a nice tour. The price and where it is were the two most important things for us.

"Caring Staff, More Activities Needed"
This place doesn’t have many fun things for people to do. The workers take care of my family member, but they don’t always watch everyone as much as I’d like. If your family member stays here, make sure you check on them often.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff at this place is nice, and everything is kept clean. They tried really hard to help my family member feel comfortable. But they couldn't arrange enough rides for dialysis. During the pandemic, they didn't have any activities happening. My family member needed more help, so they moved out soon after moving in.

"Unpleasant Experience, Wouldn't Recommend Country Cottage"
Our time at Country Cottage was pretty unpleasant, I wouldn't suggest anyone to go there.

"Homely Atmosphere with Caring Staff and Tasty Food"
This place is awesome. I really should have moved my family member here from the beginning. It feels more like a cozy home than a cold hospital. The folks who looked after my family member were amazing. My family member loved the food here and finished every meal.

"Avoid This Facility: Negligent Care and Service Decline"
My mom lived here for 7 years. Everything started off well but over time everything got worse. The quality of the food dropped, and the staff stopped engaging with the people who live there - no games, not any interaction at all. Only two workers were left and they had to do all the chores like taking care of the residents, serving food, cleaning, and more. About 75% of my mom's stuff got stolen. Negligent care led to her falling multiple times. When we moved out, they billed us over $300 even though our contract stated that we wouldn't be charged for paint. A lot more bad stuff happened. I don't recommend this place. They hired temporary workers for the weekends who just spent their time sleeping, chatting on the phone or smoking out back.

""Unprofessional Staff and Unsanitary Conditions at Assisted Living Facility""
NEVER place your loved ones here! The staff is unprofessional, the residents are mistreated and they serve them cold meals. They're neglecting proper care for these individuals. It's unfortunate, seeing them living in such poor conditions. The place is significantly unclean too. I implore you, do keep my warning in mind. Even their employees are treated badly.

"Uncle Disappointed, Nice Tour, Not His Choice"
We got a good tour of this place. The staff was nice and showed us around well. But my Uncle didn't think it was what he wanted.

"Cozy Home-Like Atmosphere with Small Studio Rooms"
I met some really helpful employees at County Cottages. The place feels just like a home because it's small. I gave it four stars because all the rooms are studios and they're pretty small. It didn't suit my mother-in-law, but if you're okay with a studio apartment, it's worth checking out. The employees really care about the residents and try hard to make them feel loved and at home.

"Warm Staff, Cozy Space, Small Rooms"
The workers I met were super nice and always ready to help. County Cottages feels just like being at home because it’s not too big. I’m giving it four stars since the rooms are only studios and pretty small. It wasn’t the best choice for my mother-in-law, but you should definitely check it out if a studio apartment works for you. The staff really seemed to love and care for everyone there, making sure they feel happy and at home.

"Caring Staff and Clean Community with Fun Activities"
The team here takes really good care of my mom. They pay close attention and we talk a lot, which is great. The meals are tasty, and they keep everything super clean. There’s something fun to do every day, and I’d tell others to check this place out for sure!
