"Neglected Residents and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
Let me just start off by saying that you might initially think this place is wonderful, based on the tour and chats with administrators. However, if you decide to place your family here, you're essentially consigning them to a nightmarish situation. Some staff members are incompetent, refusing to work with the methods that this place operates on. They let you run short on medication, and the quality of the food is simply detestable. Residents don't get timely showers or have their rooms cleaned unless they're sharp enough to request for one. I've even seen several tragedies occur due to medical neglect because nurses don't want to be burdened with extra paperwork from sending them to a hospital. Accidents where people fall are often quietly dealt with and never reported to the state or family. And to top it all, the place is riddled with bed bugs. I could continue with the list, but I urge you to be cautious!

"Inadequate Care and Communication in Assisted Living Facility"
The breakfast is served around 7 AM, but my mom hardly eats it. The location is convenient, just a mile from my home. However, I'm worried about the care my 100-year-old mom receives. Despite my requests, they keep giving her caffeinated drinks. I even have to buy decaf tea because they only offer caffeinated tea to all patients in memory care. They use only a bottom sheet on the beds, and the staff doesn't wear name tags because they say patients tear them off. This makes it hard to know who's who.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
We visited the community and liked it. It needs more lights to make it brighter. The staff was very kind, caring, and answered all of our questions.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The staff here is doing a great job with my mom. The place is clean overall, but they could improve cleaning her bathroom. The food is surprisingly good. I wish they had more activities for residents.

"Searching for a home for my parents."
Today, my family visited Rosewood Manor in Scottsboro. I’m looking for more information, so if you know this place, I’d love to see your review. I need a home for my Mom and Dad, both in their 80s and healthy. We enjoyed our tour and liked the community a lot. It’s very clean and well-kept. We really liked the Director of Nursing; she is smart and super helpful. We met some residents who looked happy and had good things to say about living at Rosewood. The rooms are a bit smaller than I hoped, but they will work for us. We even looked at two connected rooms to give my parents some space. The price is reasonable, and I like that Rosewood is a small community. We also checked in Huntsville, but Rosewood is closer to us. I got a copy of the activities calendar, and there’s plenty to keep them busy. My parents are active and like to stay engaged. We were invited to stay for lunch, and I have no complaints. The portions are large, and the food is home-cooked. Dad really loved the meal. If you know someone living here, please write a review so I can hear what others think about Rosewood. Everything I’m reading is very positive. I think we’ll put down a deposit in a couple of weeks and are considering moving in on January 1.

"Mom loves it here!"
I've never written a review before, but I'm so happy with Rosewood that I want to share my experience. My mom moved in about two months ago, and we were a bit worried she wouldn't like living in a community. Those worries went away quickly! We love the staff at Rosewood; they are very caring and compassionate toward my mom. The food is great, and I have lunch with her three days a week. The new Activities Director has brought lots of fun activities, so my mom stays busy most of the day. I love the small community, where we get to know other families. If you live in the area and need a place for your parents, I recommend Rosewood Manor!

"Great Choice for Assisted Living – Rosewood Manor is Wonderful!"
Hello… I live in Huntsville, and my family was looking for a place for my dad who needs assisted living. We checked out many places around here, but they were all too big. My brother and I wanted a smaller, caring community for him. Then we heard about Rosewood Manor in Scottsboro. I was worried about the drive, but after visiting, we knew it was the right place. There are already some men living there, so I’m glad Dad will have some friends. The Executive Director gave us a great tour, and the Director of Nursing was so kind and understanding. We feel confident that Dad's health will be well taken care of. Although we’re a bit anxious about him being so far away, seeing Rosewood made us feel much better. Dad is excited about moving in two weeks, and we’re looking forward to sharing more good news once he’s settled. If you need an assisted living or memory care community, definitely check out Rosewood!

"So grateful for Rosewood's support!"
I’m glad to share my thoughts on Rosewood Manor. My parents lived here for several years. My dad passed away last June, and I’m so thankful for the amazing staff. Dad was very sick for a long time, and the staff quickly became like family to us. My mom was heartbroken, and I worried about her, but the Rosewood staff has been incredibly supportive. Dad was in memory care, and Mom is in assisted living. I can't say enough good things about everyone here. I highly recommend Rosewood to anyone looking for a warm, caring community with wonderful staff who take great care of our loved ones.

"Mom loves Rosewood!"
We are a new family at Rosewood, and my mom is so happy here! I feel blessed to have found this place. I live in Huntsville and looked at many communities, but nothing felt right. I read about Rosewood in Scottsboro and decided to tour. We fell in love as soon as we walked in. Rosewood is a small community with only 16 residents, which I love. Mom has been very happy, and we’re going on our 5th month here. I have no recommendations because they offer everything we need. The staff feels like family, and Mom gets plenty of attention. She enjoys the meals and has even gained some weight—no complaints! We live in the Assisted Living building, and I’m glad they have a memory care building if Mom needs it later. I encourage everyone in Huntsville to check out Rosewood in Scottsboro before making a decision.

"Great place for Dad!"
I'm happy to recommend this community to my neighbors in Northeast Alabama. Rosewood has been a great place for my dad. We were worried about him moving from his home of 40 years, but the staff at Rosewood helped our family a lot during this change. One of the best things is the size of the community. It's small, so Dad gets a lot of attention. The food is great, the activities keep him busy, and he has made new friends. We're very happy with our choice and recommend Rosewood.
