"Assisted Living: Mixed Food, Strong Community, Limited Options"
The food's a big issue. Soups often too salty, sometimes cold. Limited choices here for independent living. Despite that, the place has a charm, selling itself on its past. Long-time residents reminisce about better days. Sales tours are impressive. If you can afford it and handle the food ups and downs, it's comfy. But not everything is perfect. A plus: easy transition to assisted living and memory care without moving.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility: Safety & Service Concerns"
Immediately, we knew this wasn't the right spot for our family member. We came in for a pre-set tour, but not a single person was available at the reception. We wandered through the building without anyone questioning our presence. This raises concerns about safety. Additionally, when we managed to get a staff member's attention, they weren't professional or friendly. Intentionally, we visited on a weekend when management was absent to observe normal operations. We left in only 5 minutes of being there.

"Tour Fell Short of Expectations at Assisted Living Facility"
Our family visited the facility in person, but it wasn't quite what we hoped for. The tour experience wasn't the best.

"Lacking Care and Transparency: An Inside Look at Assisted Living"
Avoid this place. Sure, it's pretty on the outside, but that's as good as it gets. If you're thinking about sending a family member here who needs a lot of care, this is definitely not the place for them. They couldn't even manage my loved one's medication correctly. We continuously found out she was being rushed to the hospital because they weren't giving her the medicine she needed. She had a bad fall out of her chair and no one at the facility did anything. They just left her there on the floor until the ambulance showed up. We noticed that they didn't bother to tell us about most things that happened there. Once, she ended up with bruised ribs and we only found out because she told us herself. It was pretty obvious too, seeing that she had visible bruises. After all that happened, and only half her time spent out of the hospital, they told us she had to go. If your family member isn't in much need of care, this place might be doable. But if they need extra attention or care, definitely look elsewhere.

"Great Place, Far from Family"
We had a nice tour at Somerby of Mobile. It feels like a wonderful place for a loved one, but it's too far from family.

"Disappointed With Staff, Meals, and Activities"
My stay here has been awful so far. The workers just aren't as efficient as those at my old place. The food is also subpar and there is a lack of fun things to do. I hope it improves soon.
