"Understaffed Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Management"

This review talks about the nursing care at a place called the NURSING care facility. The workers there are nice and kind, and they are trying their best. But, there aren't enough of them! The people in charge need to be serious about fixing this. The person writing this has a family member who has been living there for almost two years. They say that lots of workers keep leaving, which is really bad. It costs more than $6,000 each month for a shared room, but even with that, family members have to visit often to make sure their loved one is taken care of. The workers are always busy, but there just aren't enough of them, so they get tired and leave. Some of the people who live there can't talk for themselves, so if their family doesn't watch out, they might not get the help they need. Mistakes happen a lot. The writer wants the management to hire more workers and treat them better.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: Roomy with Friendly Atmosphere"

The assisted living place isn't too bad. It smells okay, unlike the nursing home part. Gross! My father-in-law says the food isn't amazing, but he's super picky! He's met lots of friendly folks. His room is big with a wall of windows, good for sunlight. And the hardwood floors make it easy to move around.

"Understaffed facility neglects and misses frequent falls in memory patients."

This place has nowhere near enough staff. To make matters worse, the staff they do have don't know what they're doing. They leave people who struggle with memory issues alone for far too long. They've had a lot of people fall over, but the "nurse" and rest of the staff never see it happen and don't seem to know the specifics. The people living there will be soaked in their own mess for hours on end.

"Hopeful Families on Waiting List for Beloved Assisted Living Community"

We visited the community and really liked it. Sadly, they were full, but we got on the waiting list.

"Wonderful Community with Great Staff and Convenient Medical Care"

This is a very nice community. It’s clean and well-kept, and the staff is friendly. They’ve been great helping my mother-in-law adjust here, even though it’s been a slow process. The staff encourages her to join activities and eat with other residents. We really like the resident doctor program, so she doesn’t have to leave for appointments, and her medications are checked monthly.

"Great Community, Close to Home, and Excellent Care"

My mother-in-law is happy living here. We’re very pleased with the staff; they are caring and always keep us updated. They call us whenever something happens and keep us informed at all times. She loves the food and enjoys playing bingo and other activities. They go to the dining room three times a day. It’s closer to where we live, and it has been wonderful for us.

"Warm and Welcoming Staff"

I have no complaints about the tour I took here. The place had a good layout and was very roomy. I really liked how friendly and welcoming the staff were to my mom when we got there. Overall, it wasn't the right fit for my mom, but we had no complaints about our visit.

"Happy with Her Progress and Comfort"

The community is doing an excellent job caring for my mother-in-law. She has a private bedroom with a bathroom and a sitting area. It's big enough for all her things, like her bed and couch. She wasn't doing well at first, but now she's joining in the activities.

"Great Care and Support for Dad"

The location is perfect for our family, and my dad is doing well. He fell recently, and they called me right away. The staff have been super helpful and kind since his fall. With the assisted living, they’ve done everything to make his stay great. My dad eats all or most of the meals they serve him.

"Roomy apartments and fun activities, but staff could be more attentive!"

My family member loves all the fun stuff they do at this place. They get to join in on different activities, which is great. Also, there are lots of healthy foods to choose from, so that's nice. The apartment they live in is really big, and the people who clean it keep it super tidy. The only thing I think they could improve is how much attention they give to my grandma's needs.

We really like Village at Cook Springs! The staff is friendly and professional, and you can tell they care about the people they work with. It's more than just a job; they genuinely want residents to feel happy and at home. Even the other residents are friendly! The facility is clean, nicely decorated, and feels cozy. "Neglected Medications at Assisted Living, Leads to Deterioration"

I'm not too pleased with Village at Cook Springs Specialty Care Assisted Living. As my mom was moving in, we took out time to complete forms detailing her ongoing medications. We believed they'd continue her regimen seamlessly. However, during her first four weeks, they neglected to administer two of her meds, crucial for her heart valve and depression issues. The rehab staff have been super friendly, but the harm is already done. My mom could move around when she first got there, but now she can't even stand. It's been extremely distressing.

"Mom’s Great Spot"

Everything is nice except the food. It’s healthy and does the job, but it could be a bit better for the people who live here. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for my mom.

"Clean and Friendly Assisted Living Facility"

The boss wasn't around, but we talked before. They said to find the manager on duty. The people working there were really nice. They showed us two rooms, a small one and a big one, in the part where people get help living. The small room felt big and was getting a fresh coat of paint, so everything looked neat. The whole outside area was nice, and everyone was friendly. The place where you eat was super clean too.
