We knew the community well; polite but pushy leader. Overall good experience, though community size may diminish benefits.

""Stop Deception, Improve Overalls Service and Transparency about Fees!""
This place really needs to stop deceiving folks. They should terminate any staff who's discovered to be telling untruths. Ensure their workers are actually doing their duties properly. If not, they should be let go. Scrap the annoying point system, it's pointless. Also, they need to disclose the fees right at the onset, so people know what they're in for!

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Our time here has been alright. Some things could be better like food, activities, and keeping in touch with family. Before choosing, ask lots of questions to see if it's right, and give your loved one time to adjust. The tour showed the best, but not all has met our expectations.

"Spacious condos, nicest place in town"
We chose The Atrium because they have cottages and he wasn't ready for full assisted living. It seemed like the nicest place in town compared to others we looked at. The apartment sizes are great. He is in a 2-bedroom condo, and it is very spacious. They have different room sizes, and they all looked great. It's a very nice place, and I would recommend it to others.

"Assisted Living During COVID: Mixed Experience"
In my experience during the COVID lockdown, I wouldn’t recommend this place. While some residents roamed freely, my loved one was confined to their apartment for 90 days without proper assistance. The decline in their health led me to seek alternatives elsewhere.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Communication and Care"
Reviews before 2020 not reliable. Atrium fails on communication during pandemic. Staff rude, food quality declines.

"Pleasant Overall with Minor Stimulation Issues"
Overall, I really like The Atrium. However, I did struggle with not having enough mental challenges. I've been trying to fix that myself because otherwise, everything is really good.

"Dad Removed From Unsafe Atrium Assisted Living Conditions"
I couldn't keep my dad at The Atrium, it's not a safe environment for anyone I care about. I can't suggest anyone ever go there. They asked us not to visit in the beginning so dad could adjust. Every call I made was met with positive updates that didn't seem true. It seemed like they were overworking the residents at night, they didn't have a head nurse and there was a clear shortage of staff. Dad was there for about 5 weeks and for his safety, I took him out. They went a whole month without checking his blood sugar despite the doctor's daily order for it. He would remain unclean for several days. The Atrium even drugged him to make him calm without any official medical prescription. They later claimed it had been authorized by his doctor. His room was constantly leaving an odor of urine because there was no shower head in his shower, so I wondered how they were cleaning him. I was deeply shocked when I finally visited my dad and took him out at once.
