"Terrible Assisted Living Facility with No Compassion or Care"
WORST ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY EVER. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPASSION OR CARE. This place is run by careless and unsympathetic people who are only in this business to make money, and not to help others. They told me within one day that my mom, who has ALS, was "not a good match" for this place, which basically means she bothered the staff. They moved her here from a hospital with NO MEDICATIONS at all, which of course caused her a lot of pain and discomfort. 'A Family Affair' seemingly didn't care about this because within one day of her arrival, my mom, who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), was asked to leave because she was "grumpy". Imagine, someone with a deadly disease, who misses over 10 of their medicines for a day, being grumpy is the least severe reaction they could have had. The carer had the nastiest attitude I've ever seen in any health care facility. She was crude, unsympathetic, uneducated, and just negative. I can't even imagine me, or anybody I love, having to live in such a place. If you're trying to find an assisted living home that truly cares for someone you love, look somewhere else.

"Steer Clear of This Heartless Assisted Living Facility"
Absolute Worst Assisted Living Home, Zero Compassion Displayed This is the absolute worst assisted living facility I have ever encountered. It appears to be run by uncaring individuals more interested in making money than assisting individuals in need. I was informed within 24 hours that my mother, who is suffering from ALS, was "not well-suited" for this institution. Essentially, this suggests that my mother was bothersome to the employees. She was transported from a medical institution to this home without any of her necessary medications. Consequently, my mother was undoubtedly in distress and pain. Unfortunately, A Family Affair showed no empathy for our situation. Within 24 hours of her arrival, my mother, suffering from ALS, was sent away because she was perceived as being "impatient". If anyone with a serious health condition is deprived of over 10 of their prescriptions for a full day, feeling agitated might be the most reasonable reaction. The caregiver demonstrated the poorest attitude I have ever experienced in healthcare. They were disrespectful, indifferent, uninformed, and utterly pessimistic. I can't imagine the nightmare of living in such a place. If you are considering a caring assisted living home for a loved one, I would advise you to seek elsewhere." .

"24/7 Staff Misleading; Friendly Environment for Night Sleepers"
We thought they had staff around the clock, but it's just one person all the time. Still, they're nice, especially if you snooze through the night.

"Clean, knowledgeable owner; small bedroom. Nice home, second choice."
This place was really nice, like a cozy home! It might be our second pick. It was super clean, and the person who owns it knows a lot. The only downside was that the bedroom was a bit small.
