"Not Enough Life: A Depressing Environment for Residents in Need"
I didn't like this place much. It felt sad with mostly people in wheelchairs who needed a lot of care. There weren't many activities, more like a nursing home. The building was nice, but I was hoping for more lively atmosphere.

"Belmont: Friendly, Responsive, and Cozy!"
I think others should consider this community. The folks at Belmont are super friendly. They respond quickly when we inquire about our loved one. The room is perfect for them, although we had to furnish it ourselves.

"A Caring and Welcoming Place!"
I brought my mom to Belmont Village because she couldn’t manage at home after her hospital and rehab stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making sure everything was set up for her within days. The nurses and caregivers were always professional and kind. The place was clean, and the food was great. I felt reassured every time I visited, knowing Mom was making new friends.

"“Mixed Experience at Bellmont Assisted Living”"
The senior advisor helped us find Bellmont. I like the idea of in-between care for assisted living and a dementia unit. The place is clean and pretty; the apartments are very nice, and they have a pool (although its use ended up not being quite what was described). Getting a hold of people by phone is very difficult, but when you do, they do try to help and are nice. I think email and in-person appointments are better. I’m not sure if the front desk are volunteers, but it would be nice to have them trained and given information. I think they are working on it. They do answer the phone right away during day hours.

"Facility Rejects Mom Due to Escape Concerns"
Regarding the care my mom requires, this living facility refused to let her stay. The employees expressed concerns about her escaping. Comparatively, this facility is quite small. Although the staff was open about the type of care they could give, it was still a shock when they informed us they wouldn't take in our dear one.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living with Excellent Care and Cuisine"
My mom has been through a lot lately, so saying moving here was easy and she's adjusted well wouldn't quite fit. She's doing better than before and slowly starting to make friends with the staff, who have been wonderful and encouraging. She's still getting used to her new surroundings and settling into a new routine. The one thing she absolutely loves is the food; she looks forward to mealtime. The community almost feels like living in a hotel permanently. I would highly recommend this place.

Moving here wasn't super easy for Mom, but she's doing better now. She's making friends slowly and likes the staff a lot. She's still getting used to everything, especially her new routine. But she loves the food here and it feels almost like living in a hotel permanently. I'd tell others to consider this place.

"Concerned About Unsafe AC unit and Heavy Traffic"
I visited a pretty good community, but I wasn't happy with the air conditioning in the room. They had constructed this big wooden box around it that took up a lot of space and it had sharp corners. That worried me because someone could easily get hurt by tripping over it. The community is also located in a spot that often has a lot of traffic, which could be a problem when we want to visit.

"Good Place, Needs Improvements and Great Food"
My husband is doing pretty good at this place. It's a nice-looking spot and it's always kept clean. But they could work on some things. The staff are super helpful, but some of the caregivers don't pay attention like they should and don't always seem to have good judgement. Still, they have fun activities to do. And my husband really enjoys the food here, which is totally a plus. Overall, I'm okay with the care he's getting, and I would suggest this place to others.

"Wonderful Care Eases Dad's Move Despite Memory Loss"
My dad just moved in a few weeks ago. He's almost 90, has short-term memory loss, and is legally deaf. The first week was really scary. He lost the last 40+ years of his memories and didn't know why he was there, even though he has lived and worked in Arizona for over 30 years and didn’t remember any of it. Every day when I came to see him, he was packing to go home to the house he lived in 40 years ago. During the first week, he went on a lunch outing, which seemed to help. I took him to lunch at Olive Garden, a place we used to go a lot. On the drive, he started talking about things that happened a couple of months ago and then a couple of years ago. It was great to see his memories coming back. I knew moving was very stressful, especially for someone with short-term memory loss. The people at Belmont have been wonderful. My dad is doing really well so far, which is more than I expected in such a short time.

It must be a relief to see how quickly she adapted and embraced the care she’s receiving. It's also impressive that your siblings are just as pleased with the facility and the progress she’s made.

"Subpar Food at Elderly Care Homes"
The staff here are decent and the activities are alright, suitable for older folks. However, the food isn't tasty. Just today, our lunch was a greasy pizza. The soup is also way too salty. Lots of seniors probably have dietary restrictions and must be cautious with their food. Sadly, they lack a nutritionist.

"Inadequate Staffing and Activities at Assisted Living Facility"
This facility fell short in caring for my family member. Though it's nicely decorated and the meals were okay, the provided care didn't cut it. The number of staff members compared to patients was inadequate. If you're contemplating this place, consider how much attention your family member needs versus the amount of staff available. I think they lacked a variety of activities; they only had some, but it wasn't sufficient. It seemed like my family member spent a lot of time alone.

"Amazing Staff with Great Memory Care!"
The cleanliness is different in common areas compared to the individual apartments. The common areas are very clean, so I'd give them a 5-star rating, while the apartments get a 3-star rating. Overall, the value here is great. What I like most is that everyone is specially trained to help with memory issues. Dealing with memory problems isn’t just about physical needs it’s also about mental and emotional needs, which can be tricky. The staff handle this really well, and they’re required to complete a lot of training hours. Plus, there’s always a registered nurse on duty 24/7. I can only say good things about the staff!

We met with Christy, and my brother and I were impressed with the staff and the facility. It's a 2-year-old building that looks well-run and like a good place for my mom, considering the cost, available rooms (studio and 1-bedroom), and overall care atmosphere. My mom isn’t happy, but she’s getting good care. It’s very expensive, but she gets a lot of services. She’s in the Circle of Friends, the dementia care program. The only issue is that communication could be better. My sister has to call a lot to reach the nurses if there’s a medication issue. Otherwise, we’re very happy with Belmont Village. In the Circle of Friends program, the residents are in class from 9-5, broken into 40-minute sessions. In the morning, they might learn about something like the history of baseball. After a snack, they’ll do a baseball-related activity. Then they have lunch and return for another activity, like a craft related to baseball. Each day has a theme. The program runs every day and is amazing! You have to qualify for it. Mom was once in lockdown because her scores were too low, but now that she’s getting the right medication, she’s doing much better.

At Belmont Village, everyone works hard and genuinely cares about their residents. They could add more physical activities, though.
