"An angel to the elderly"
I would give the staff member we interacted with 10 stars if I could and I'm speaking from experience. My father-in-law was her patient for over 3 years and we are truly blessed to have found someone like her. His medical records were well kept and those in the ER complimented the care that he received. She was well trusted by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons, and other relatives. My father-in-law was wheelchair bound and he loved her too. To the staff member, you have a gift in taking care of the elderly. Thank you so much for being our angel in our time of need.

"Owner Charges More, Cares Less With Unwelcoming Attitude"
I wasn't pleased with the manner of THIS particular owner! Unlike many welcoming owners I've met, she didn't come across as friendly. She mentioned she's working for the first month as a caregiver for FREE to finance her website, 'A Place For Mom', which she uses to run her assisted living business. I don't think she needed to disclose that to me! She's licensed for 5 residents but claims she can only accommodate three as she and her family also live there. To compensate for the reduced occupants, she's charging more per room! I've NEVER found another owner saying such things! Luckily there are many KIND OWNERS who care about the resident's welfare ABOVE their profits! I'm so put off that I won't even check out her facility, especially after the comment she made about the website! She came off as very aloof and indifferent!

"Unimpressive Experience with Assisted Living Facility Owner"
I didn't appreciate the owner of this place at all. Unlike other owners I've spoken to, she didn't come off as friendly or welcoming. She told me how she's working as a caregiver for the first month without pay in order to afford the 'A Place For Mom' website, and I didn't think it was necessary for her to share that with me. This site is apparently how she brings in business for her assisted living facility. Even though the house is registered for five residents, she can only accommodate three since she and her family also live there. So, to cover the cost of the two unavailable spots, she charges more per room. I have never heard of such a thing from any other owner! There are lots of other owners who prioritize looking after the residents over making money. After hearing about her financial situation with the website, I have no interest in visiting her home. Her demeanor was icy and devoid of any compassion.
