"Friendly Staff and Good Meals"
The staff is really friendly and helpful. I think they're a bit short-staffed right now, but so is everywhere. Housekeeping is pretty good, though my mom has been without toilet paper once or twice. My mom really likes the meals – she says they're tasty and healthy. They were also very helpful with getting my mom accepted into ALTCS. Overall, it’s been a good experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

"Caring Assisted Living with Kind Staff"
Our family liked this place. The front office was friendly, and the staff cared for our parents. We’d recommend it for assisted living and memory care.

"Assisted Living Tour Feedback"
The tour was okay, but I couldn't talk to anyone who could make decisions about assisted living memory care. They only showed us assisted living, not what I needed. Their common area was okay but not as modern as the place we picked. However, the staff were really friendly.

"Not Quite Homey: Mixed Feelings about Brookdale Assisted Living"
When we visited Brookdale, it felt too much like a hospital. We wanted a place that felt cozier and more like home. The memory care section, however, was incredibly clean. Overall, it just didn't feel right for our loved one.

"Aging Facility with Potential"
The place is pretty nice, but it could use some updates like new carpet and fresh paint. It's starting to look old.

"Shocking Neglect and Unfounded Accusations at Local Assisted Living Facility"
During the tour, I was led to believe that everyone in the facility was deeply compassionate. However, it turned out that the night staff was indifferent and constantly preoccupied with their phones, neglecting the residents to the point that they asked my relatives to fetch them water because they were parched. My mom tripped and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Thankfully, she wasn't severely injured, but the hospital detected a urinary tract infection. How could Brookdale have missed this? A mysterious bruise appeared on her finger, and items of clothing went missing even though we had labeled everything with her name. It seemed they preferred residents who didn't require much attention, who would merely sit and engage in minimal activity. My mom's active and sometimes restless behavior apparently bothered them, and they ended up sending her to the hospital for an assessment. The hospital managed to adjust her medications and asserted she didn't require inpatient therapy. Despite this, Brookdale firmly insisted that she did, and wouldn't take her back until the hospital relented. We are so grateful we chose to move her to a memory care facility that can properly care for sundown syndrome patients. This is despite Brookdale's claim that no other facility would accept her due to her behavior. They accused the hospital staff of deceit and wrongly asserted that they were over-medicating her, which was completely farfetched.

"Pleasant Visit, Not Right for Mom"
I checked out this place and it was pretty and tidy. The people working there were nice and ready to help. They gave answers to all my questions. But the rooms weren’t big enough, and it just didn’t suit what my mom needed. I think others should definitely see this place before they choose.
