"Assisted Living Facility Review"
It seemed nice. They didn't have space for my family. Staff was friendly.

"Engaging Staff and Activities, Food Options Could Improve"
The director is really involved, and all the staff do a great job connecting with families to make sure residents feel welcome. The food is okay, but it would be better to have more choices between meals. Sometimes, my dad sleeps through breakfast, and it would be helpful to have more options available for him at those times. Housekeeping is good overall. They take pride in keeping the facility clean and looking nice. The activities are great, but they only go on one outing per week and can only take a limited number of residents each time. I think more options or availability would be nice. However, they do a good job catering to residents' interests for activities and outings, which is great. There has been some turnover recently, but most of the staff has been there for a long time, which I really like. I would recommend this facility!

"Caring Staff and Intimate Setting Provide Excellent Care for Residents"
The staff at this assisted living place is super nice and they seem to genuinely care about the residents. They really keep my mom in check and do a fantastic job with her. The building is smaller and everything is on one floor, which makes it feel cozy and like they can give more personal attention.

"Better Staffing Choices at Another Community"
I visited Brookdale and it was okay. From what I know, Brookdale hires caregivers through an outside service. But I decided to pay more at a different place where the staff feels like family, not just temporary workers. We picked another community because their care staff are directly employed there.

"Lacking a Homey Feel at Brookdale North Mesa"
Our visit to Brookdale North Mesa didn’t really impress us. The place felt too much like a hospital, both inside and out. We wanted a spot that felt more like a cozy home.

"Warning: Negligent Care and Unfulfilled Promises at Assisted Living"
This place doesn't have enough staff, and they don't pay enough attention to the people living there. They say they will do things and then they don't. They advertise that they assist people with dementia and older people, but it seems like they just let them be on their own without much care or concern.

"Kind Staff, Smooth Transition: Brookdale North Mesa Assisted Living Review"
Everyone was really helpful. My sister has had some issues and everyone was really nice. Even after I moved her to a smaller place, the one who runs Brookdale North Mesa, still helped me with the move. Working together is important. I got all the help I needed. Thanks for everything.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Warmth and Comfort"
This place didn't wow me. It felt too much like a hospital. The guide was friendly during our tour. The place seemed tidy, but it didn't feel like the right fit for my loved one.
