"High Turnover but Feels Secure"
The assisted living place has too many changes in staff, like caregivers and nurses, but it still feels safe.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
Brookdale Peoria is just the right size for my mom, so she doesn't feel overwhelmed. The staff is friendly and caring, and they take good care of her. They keep me updated on her well-being, which I appreciate. They offer art projects, shopping trips, and monthly lunches out. During Christmas, they enjoy looking at lights and decorating for all holidays. However, I've noticed that sometimes my mom's room isn't cleaned well; her floor has been dusty during visits. She prefers to have my sister do her laundry because sometimes clothes come back wrinkled or damp. The food could also use improvement with more healthy choices. Despite these concerns, what matters most is that my mom enjoys living there. She appreciates the kindness of everyone and has made friends she really likes.

"Unacceptable Medication Management at Assisted Living Facility"
We've decided to move our family member elsewhere. It's close to impossible to believe how they managed to mess up her medications. They disregarded some medications altogether while overdosing her on different ones- it was a horror show. I discourage anyone from considering this facility. The core of this problem lies with the executive director. Her dismissive answer when I inquired about preventing future mishaps was simply, "We are humans who can make mistakes, we can't guarantee it won't occur again." Bottom line, we took control over our loved one's medications out of pure distrust for them.

"Mixed Feelings on Cozy Assisted Living: Safe but with Issues"
This place feels nice and cozy, but it's got some problems. Overall, I believe it's a safe spot for older folks. They offer activities like walks and puzzles for residents. It's not a big community, and once a month they go out for lunch, and sometimes to the market. They also help with appointments, which is helpful for my loved one.
