"Mixed Experience, Overall Positive"

I hear noises from floor to floor, which is my only issue. The staff is very nice, but I haven't joined many activities. Overall, it's a pretty good community.

"Friendly Community with Some Housekeeping Hiccups"

We really like this community. The food is great, and there's lots of variety. The staff are wonderful. Sometimes we don't get weekly housekeeping, and when we do, it's not very thorough.

"Fairwinds: Pricier, but Worth It!"

The property costs more than our budget allows, but it's in a great location. My family member has positive things to say about Fairwinds.

"Great place, but not for future memory care needs"

I initially picked Fairwinds as the top option for my mom. I ended up choosing a different place, but Fairwinds has nothing to do with that decision. Their place is really nice and designed for both independent and assisted living. The only reason I didn’t pick them is because my mom will need memory care in the future, which they don’t provide.

"Beautiful place, but no memory care available."

Fairwinds was my top pick when searching for a home for my mom. I ended up choosing a different place, but it wasn’t because of Fairwinds. Their grounds are beautiful and they specialize in independent and assisted living. I didn’t choose them only because my mom will need memory care in the future, which they don’t provide.

"Great Staff, No Stovetops - Nice Community Experience"

Fairwinds - Desert Point is a super nice place. The people working there were really friendly and helped us with our questions. We picked a different place because they didn't have stovetops in their units. We wanted our family member to have meals provided to make sure she ate well.

"Clean, Friendly, and Affordable Assisted Living Tour Experience"

I really liked Fairwinds because it was in a good spot and didn't cost too much. When I went for a tour, the person showing me around was really good at explaining things and answering my questions. Everybody there was nice, and the place itself was super clean and looked nice.

"A Pleasant Visit"

We visited this community and it looked really clean. The person who showed us around was friendly. They let people have pets, and there's a pool. But they don't have memory care, which doesn't fit our needs.

"Mom Loves New Home"

My mom is really happy in her new place. She likes the good food the chef makes and enjoys eating with the other people who live there. She's also starting to join in on the activities they have each week. We're happy with how things are going and hope they stay this way.

"High Prices; Good Staff"

I visited and she didn't know I was coming. She was nice. I checked out two one-bedroom places in phase 1 and 2. They offered two bedrooms, but they cost a lot.

"Mixed Feelings: Friendly Staff, Limited Amenities, Small Living Spaces"

This place has really nice people running it. Stacy was punctual and chatted with us about what was going on. It's kept clean and there's plenty of chances to hang out with others. But, there's not a clear divide between people who live alone and those who need more help. They have separate spots but they're mixed together. That might not work for everyone. There's a big downside though. The apartments are super tiny. They only had two open, which isn't a lot. Waiting is pretty common here. One was on the first floor and looked out onto the parking lot. That's a no-go for my mom. The other had a better view, but no balcony. Even though it was supposed to be bigger with a living room, it still felt cramped. And the kitchen? Bare bones. No dishwasher or oven, just a couple of burners and a small fridge. Plus, there's barely any storage space, and no coat closet. The bathroom's small too.

"My Tour"

I enjoyed visiting the pleasant community. They gave me all the necessary information. The facility is new, and I saw the lovely amenities. The price seemed a bit high.
