"Dedicated Staff, But Room for Improvement"
The system at Foothills Place needs some fixing. I feel like the workers there have too much to do and don't get enough pay or recognition. But I have to say, the staff members are awesome! They're all really nice people who are working hard to make things better.

"Mixed Experience at Foothills Place Assisted Living Facility"
When I first checked out Foothills Place, different folks were in charge. But now, it seems like they've switched up their staff a bunch. My time here has been okay, but it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Some things were great, but others fell short. I'm not sure if it's because they're bringing in new folks. One thing that bugs me is that sometimes when the residents need help, they have to wait a long time. I don't know if it's because the staff isn't great, if there aren't enough of them, or both.

"Friendly Staff, Bland Meals, and More Encouragement Needed for Activities"
All the staff we have met have been great. The lady at the front desk is nice, and the nurses and housekeepers are very friendly. Sometimes, our loved ones say the meals are too bland. There are plenty of activities, but we wish the staff would encourage our loved ones to join in more and socialize with others.

"Staff amazing, medication lacking overnight, staffing needs improvement."
The staff were really great, but they didn't have enough people to give medicine at night. Because of this, my loved one went without their medicine for a long time. This wasn't okay to me, and they should have hired more staff to fill this gap. My only problem was with the staffing, but the people there were fantastic.

"Activities Limited, Outings Canceled at Assisted Living Facility"
I suggest keeping an eye on the caregivers to ensure they give your loved one the right medications. Also, double-check this information multiple times. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, activities are limited, and outings have been canceled.

"Improved Safety and Social Growth; Slow Response to Requests"
My only complaint is that one department takes a long time to respond to a necessary request. This delay is causing a holdup with my long-term insurance company. However, my relative is very happy with this place. She has improved a lot in how she interacts with others. This facility is much better at getting things done and keeping everyone safe compared to where I moved her from.

"Residents Disappointed with Assisted Living Services"
I’m not getting the service I expected. Everything could be better for the residents. The staff avoids us, and the food is just okay. They don’t handle special diets.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Promised Care for Residents"
My advice is that your family member must be able to fully take care of themselves. The place couldn't help with bathing or looking after my loved one as they assured me they would.

"Understaffed Assisted Living Needs Improvement"
The place is nice, and the staff care about residents. But they need more workers, especially in the dining hall.

"Satisfied with Foothills Place for Brothers’ Care"
We picked Foothills Place because it felt right for my brothers when we talked to the people working there, like the salesperson and the head nurse. I’d say it’s a good choice if it fits what your family needs.

"Helpful and Informative Staff with Virtual Tour and Detailed Information"
I had a really good talk with [name removed]. She listened to what I needed and gave me some good ideas. She showed me around on FaceTime, which was cool. Then she sent me some details about the costs so I can decide. I'm going to check it out in person when I'm in Tucson in mid-March.

"Plenty of Amenities, But Opted for Home Care Instead"
I visited this place while searching for a spot for my friend. I spoke with staff, who runs it. It wasn’t super fancy but quite nice. The grounds were stunning and well-kept. The place itself was spotless. If someone could afford it and join in the activities, it’d be great. But I noticed many amenities weren’t used by residents. It's a bit small and cheaper. We chose home care instead.

"Ideal Assisted Living: Meets Our Mom's Needs Perfectly"
My mom and her cat are doing well here. I'm happy with the staff. Her room is awesome with a nice view of the mountains. The move-in process went smoothly. Two main things were crucial: 1) being close to my mom and 2) ensuring a safe environment. The cost is reasonable, and we've secured the rates for her room and board. If her dementia worsens, there's a memory unit available, so we won't have to move her again. Overall, it's been a great match.

"My Takeaway From the Tour"
This place seemed clean and friendly during our visit. The staff was nice, and they had some activities. Unfortunately, the only available option was upstairs, which didn't work for us.

"Welcoming Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
My mom thinks they're a bit slow when she asks for help. Maybe it's because she's a little impatient. At first, she wasn't doing any activities, but now she's participating. The meals don't quite match her cooking, but they're pretty good. We picked Foothills Place because they were welcoming and willing to take her.
