I think they didn't keep a close eye on my loved one during their stay. She kept falling, and the ambulance had to take her to the hospital. Now that she's at a new facility, she hasn't fallen at all.

This place is nice and does what it's supposed to. The staff works well, although some are better than others. Mom finds the food okay; some meals are better than others, but overall, it's fine. They clean once a week, and it's done well. They communicate well with our family. I think it's a good choice for others in similar situations.

"Needs Better Support for Blind Residents"
My family member is blind and sometimes struggles with meals here. I think the kitchen staff could improve. Her food should be cut into smaller pieces, and they should describe what's on her plate. Despite this, it's a good place overall. I think there aren't enough staff right now to properly care for everyone. I've been called to help calm her down before. The staff need better training on how to care for blind residents. It would be helpful if they could tell her where things are on her plate, like saying "turkey at 9 o'clock, green beans at 6 o'clock, roll at 3 o'clock." This would make it easier for her during meals.

My sister liked staying here. She couldn't walk outside. Staff and residents are nice. I wish they grouped residents by care level better so my sister could join more activities.

"Tour of Hacienda Del Rey!"
I visited Hacienda Del Rey and it seemed nice. The person showing me around was friendly and helpful. They were flexible with our timing, and we had a good time, but it wasn't perfect for my dad. We were looking for a place with more individual attention.

My dad passed away after moving into Hacienda Del-Rey. It was a great place for him. The staff were wonderful, and I’m glad he was in this community. They provide excellent care to the residents. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I also want to thank A Place for Mom for referring us here.

My mom stays at Hacienda Del Ray after hip surgery. Caregivers listen well. Admin staff disappoints. the staff quick to start but lacks follow-up. Important staff changes not communicated.

"A Loving Home for Grandma at Hacienda del Ray"
We couldn't be happier with Hacienda del Ray! When we needed a place for Grandma because of her care situation, finding Hacienda was a real blessing. They’ve thought of everything you could imagine for your loved one, all wrapped up in a beautiful 10,000 square foot home. They offer a variety of home-cooked meals, individual laundry service, help with personal care, medicine monitoring, an on-site nurse, activities, birthday parties—the list goes on! The management staff is amazing. I can't express how much easier it is for me, knowing she is so well taken care of.
