"Delayed departure process marred by bureaucratic confusion and extra charges."
The thing that bothered me the most was trying to leave. I had told them when my parents planned to leave, and they said my parents needed to inform them 30 days in advance. My father showed up at the front desk exactly 30 days before the planned departure date to inform them and ask what he needed to do. However, the main manager didn't meet with him until a week later and only then provided the necessary paperwork. Even worse, they wouldn't let him sign out on the date he wanted. When we finally tried to leave, they attempted to charge us for an additional month because of their delay in responding to my father. It turned into a big mess, and I had to escalate the issue to someone higher up to get it resolved.

"Comfortable Assisted Living with Friendly Atmosphere and Excellent Amenities"
Moving in was easy and everything went smoothly. The food they serve for meals is usually very good, and they offer a variety of options. The staff who serve the meals are kind and friendly. Before I moved in, my apartment was painted and got new carpeting. Everything in my apartment was working properly. The people who live here are friendly, and within a few days, they knew my name. The outdoor area with gardens is nice to spend time in. The entire place is well taken care of and clean. It doesn't feel like a fancy resort, but more like a nice home.

"Good, but not the best fit."
Certainly! Here's the revised review and a concise headline: **Review:** "[name removed] was really great, but it didn't quite fit for my mom." **Headline:**

"Mixed feelings about this assisted living facility near busy street"
The people who work here are really nice and friendly. The building is right off of Thunderbird, which is a busy street with lots of stores. The food is really good and they serve it like you're in a restaurant. But there aren't as many fun things to do here as I thought there would be. I thought since they're so close to downtown they would take residents to Glendale Glitters to see the Christmas lights. Also, they don't separate the residents with dementia from the others.

"Great Facility, But Small Units Need Improvement"
I really liked everything about the facility, except that the units are quite small. It would be great to have more two-bedroom units or one-bedroom units with a study.

"Older Building, Friendly Staff, Needs Refurbishment for Brighter Atmosphere"
We didn't like this community as much as others we had seen in the area. The building is older and looks very gloomy. I think the whole place could use a makeover to make it look fresher and more modern. The staff was nice and helpful, but I didn't think it would be a good place for my dad.

"Smaller Apartments, Friendly Staff; Chose Another Community for Needs"
We visited LifeStream Complete Senior Living at Thunderbird. The staff showed us around nicely. They were friendly and did a good job explaining everything about their place. The food looked good, but the apartments seemed really tiny. In the end, we picked a different community that suited what we were looking for better.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
We visited this place. The staff was friendly, but it didn't feel quite right. The food options were good, and there were activities to join. Families should check it out for their loved ones' care.

"Subpar Care and Lack of Accountability at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is the worst! My poor mom has had to endure it for less than a year and has already had eight hospital visits! A while back, I stayed overnight with her and saw a care assistant give her a pill without telling her what it was. They had taken her blood pressure reading, which was alarmingly low at 76/35, and then gave her her regular blood pressure medicine! That's not right, especially since it could put her in a serious condition mainly when she's trying to sleep. When I voiced my concerns about this dangerous situation, I was tossed over to a nurse who was just about to leave her shift. She suggested increasing mom's fluid intake when she's specifically been told to keep her fluids low because of her CHF, a condition she was admitted to the hospital with just two weeks before this incident. When the Executive Director, who's also a nurse, heard about this, she questioned me about my "worries." Being a healthcare worker for 26 years, I explained my unease at how quickly my mother's health had gone downhill since moving in. But nothing has been done! That was two months ago, and the only thing that's happened is me being told I can't visit my mother. It's clear that if you truly care for your loved ones, you wouldn't put them here unless you wanted to essentially abandon them, like what my sister did to my mom!

"Independent Apartments Too Far Apart, Friendly Atmosphere Overall"
The place was nice, but I didn't like how far apart the independent apartments were. Some were inside the main building and closer to each other, but they weren't as nice. Everyone was really friendly.
