"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Expectations"
During our visit, we asked if smoking was allowed. They said no, but it is, which worsens my health. Rent increased shortly after moving in, causing financial stress. I wish they were honest from the start. Moving is tough, especially for the elderly and sick. Is this really a Christian facility? Landscaping focuses on the front. Apartments with patios are nice. The kitchen staff and food are great, and lunch is served daily.

"Great place for seniors on a budget, friendly staff, good meals"
The staff at LifeStream at Youngtown is really nice and friendly. They keep the place clean, though you have to be around when they clean your place. We had a few issues when we first moved in with the people who run things here. My dad really enjoys the food. He says he feels like a king when he eats! If you're looking for a place that's affordable, I would definitely suggest LifeStream at Youngtown. It's nice knowing my dad is in a place he likes and that fits his budget.

"Oversold memory care; insufficient staff; neglected activities."
They promised memory care but lacked staff; activities were neglected.

"Safe and beautiful assisted living with great security!"
While searching for a place for my sister, I was really impressed with this facility. It looked like individual condos, and they even had a nice little yard that was nicely landscaped. The residents feel safe here because they have security patrolling the area at night. I would definitely recommend this community to other families!

"Great care, clean facilities, but afternoon staff needs improvement"
He is in the memory care part of this community. The morning staff is amazing with him. They even call me if I need to know anything or if he’s running low on something, so I don’t have to make multiple trips. I’m not sure what’s wrong with the afternoon staff; I guess I just don’t know them well. The place is clean and well-kept. They have a secured patio he can go out on if he wants. I would recommend this community.

"Morning staff great; place clean and well-kept."
My loved one is in the memory care section of this place. The morning staff is excellent with him. They even call me if I need to know something or if he is low on supplies, so I don’t have to make extra trips. I’m not sure about the afternoon staff because I don’t know them well. The place is clean and well-maintained. There’s a secure patio he can use if he wants. I would recommend this community.

"'Falling Short of Expectations'"
As soon as my sister and I arrived at the place, we knew it wasn't right for our dad. The outside wasn't nice or well kept. The building looked like it needed a fresh coat of paint. It didn't meet our expectations for sure. Plus, it was definitely a hassle that you had to actually go outside and walk to get to different activities. Considering our dad has a hard time moving around and the weather gets pretty hot, that just wasn't going to work out. All in all, I wouldn't advise others to choose this place for their family.

I really like the care my mom gets here. The staff are kind and very caring. My mom enjoys the meals, and there’s a good variety on the menu. They offer activities for her, and we’re happy to see her slowly joining in with the other residents. We would recommend the care and value of this community to other families.

My family member is really enjoying their time at LifeStream! The place is super clean and looks after well. The people who work there are really nice and always make sure my family member gets everything they need. There's a lot of different foods to pick from too! One thing we do wish is that they had more activities to choose from.

My family member loves staying at LifeStream! The place is super clean and neat. The people who work here are really nice and always make sure my family member has everything they need. Plus, there's a bunch of food to pick from! The only thing we wish was different is they could have more activities to do. But overall, my family member is really happy staying here!

My mom is doing really well since she moved into this community. She feels positive about everything here. Although we're still settling in, she already loves the people. They've been friendly and welcoming so far.

"Great place with fun activities!"
My mom and dad live in the independent section here. They have had no complaints at all. I feel good about the care they get from the staff, and I love how friendly the other residents are to them. They enjoy the activity center, which is open all week, and like the different events on campus.

"Great value for our fixed income!"
We have a small house in the community, and it has a washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Two girls come to clean our home, which is really helpful since sometimes we don’t feel like vacuuming. We pay for our meals in the dining room, and they are always hot and fresh. There are many activities offered during the day if we want to stay busy. We like this community because the price is reasonable for our fixed income.
