"Neglected at Assisted Living: Poor Care, Delayed Meals, No Wipes"
My mom used to live here and the staff were not friendly at all – no reasons for their rudeness. I'm extremely upset that my mom had to deal with such a terrible place. When we came for a visit through the window, my mom wasn't even prepared; her hair was untidy, she had no shoes, yet they knew she was expecting us but they didn't get her ready. My sister brought her tamales at 11 am, but she didn't receive them until 4 pm. That only happened because my sister checked in to see if mom liked the tamales and found out she hadn't gotten them. My mom, an 80-year-old lady, is not mobile currently and uses a wheelchair, so of course she wears a diaper. Unfortunately, the facility does not provide wipes – can you believe it, no wipes? The manager says she doesn't make enough money to afford buying wipes, only toilet paper! Isn't that unbelievable? We pay a good deal yet she has the nerve to say that! Our senior parents are like infants now, so should I clean my newborn grandson with toilet paper or wipes??

"Assisted Living Tour Review"
I visited Manantial De Vida and wasn't impressed. It didn't have what I wanted. It might suit others, but not my mom.
