"Room for Improvement in Communication and Activity Participation"
My family and I have had a good experience here with my loved one. The staff take good care of them, the place feels nice, and the food is good. However, I haven't noticed my loved one taking part in activities, and the staff don't keep me updated about what activities they do. The staff could do better at letting me know what's happening with my loved one. When my loved one fell and hurt themselves, the staff did call me to tell me about it. They also answer our questions about how our loved one is doing. There are 4 aides here for 40 residents, and it would be better if there were more staff to help with care.

"Caring Staff Makes a Difference"
We had a bumpy start, but things are improving. Our loved one remains because of the amazing caregivers. They're attentive to all their needs.

"Noisy Location and Uninformed Guide Marred Assisted Living Experience"
The place only had rooms near the fire department or busy streets, which would've been too loud for the price. Plus, the tour guide didn't know much about the place.

I liked MorningStar. The tour was great, and the place felt like a nice hotel. The rooms were wonderful, and the food looked fancy.

"Friendly staff and great location make MorningStar a top choice"
We picked MorningStar because I liked how the staff acts, it's a newer place, and it's close to my home. The staff are very friendly and really put in a lot of effort. I would suggest it to others who are searching.

"Assisted Living Needs Better Communication and Staff Stability"
I'd tell others that the staff changes a lot here, and they don't always let families know. I have to call a lot to get any info about visiting, so they need to work on talking better.

"Mixed Experience at Morning Star Assisted Living"
Morning Star doesn’t have enough people in the memory care unit. COVID safety rules make it harder for our loved one to connect with others. Housekeeping isn’t great; we always have to vacuum. Our loved one spilled cranberry juice, but it hasn’t been cleaned up. The caregiver is helpful, but language is a barrier. We’re not sure how assisted living and memory care differ. Food is bad.

"Caring staff with excellent communication"
The staff is professional and caring. They kept me updated about my Dad’s situation before he was supposed to move in. Even though his medical needs changed, and he didn't end up moving into MorningStar, they still genuinely cared about him and helped me find the best solution for his needs. I would highly recommend them to care for your loved one.

"Morning Star: Satisfying, with Room for Improvement"
My mom has lived at Morning Star for about 3 months, and overall, she’s satisfied. Most of the food is good, but there are a few things she doesn’t care for. Sometimes they run out of popular menu items, and there’s considerable staff turnover in the dining room. Communication is pretty good, but occasionally you have to go to the executive director to get things done. For instance, they were supposed to clean the carpet in her suite, and it took several requests before it happened. The staff are friendly, but there’s sometimes a lack of communication among them. The surroundings are pleasant and modern.
