"Large, Expensive Assisted Living Community"
Our family took an in-person tour, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, the community was too large and expensive for our loved one.

"Limited Expertise, Weekly Visits"
We visit once a week, but I'm not an expert to judge this living place.

"Mom Feels Right at Home Here, Best Choice We Found"
This place is the best of all the ones we saw. Most importantly, Mom feels very comfortable and calls it home!

"Heartbreaking Memory: Assisted Living Facility's Horrendous Treatment"
My mother-in-law once stayed at a great assisted living facility that was a bit far from us, so when there was one just two houses down from ours, I thought it'd be perfect for her – but boy, was I wrong. She had Dementia and Alzheimer's, and the owner confidently claimed they're equipped to handle all that, but it was far from truth. With her living so close, we'd drop by often to check up on her, mostly my husband on a daily basis. A couple weeks before she passed away, she fell right in front of the owner's eyes, and they didn't even bother to tell us till the next day, despite us living so close. You'd shriek if I showed you how bad her eye looked. Then, hospice was called as she was nearing the end of her life, and they were horrified to see her black eye from the fall. We were told that if she died within the next three months, an autopsy would be compulsory. The day she died, the owner met us at the door and simply said, 'she's gone'. Why didn't they think to call us when they knew she was dying? We were just two doors away, but they robbed us of our chance to say goodbye. Soon after, her death turned into a full-blown crime scene, complete with cops and interrogations. It was a total nightmare. Previously, they seemed to call my husband for everything, but they treated her like a nuisance near the end. It's heart-breaking. I beg you, don't let somebody you care about end up in a place like this.

"Memory care focus lacked amidst friendly atmosphere; varied care levels."
The Ronald Home Care was nice. Everyone was friendly but they had many different levels of care. We were looking for a place that focused on memory care and where we knew she would receive personalized attention.
