"Not Recommended Assisted Living Facility"
I didn’t choose this place for a few reasons. When I tried to fill out the application, they weren’t very helpful. Plus, they don’t accept people who get state assistance. Another thing that bothered me is that they prefer folks who can move around on their own. The facility is new and nice, but it felt dark inside, with only parking lot views from the windows. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it.

"Troubling Experience; Facility Lacks Support and Exclusivity"
There were a handful of reasons I didn't choose this home for my loved one. When it came time to do the application, we could have used a little extra help. They made it clear they don't accept any state aid. Another negative was their preference for individuals who were independently mobile and didn't need help getting around - like going to meals on their own. The place is pretty new and looks nice, but wasn't a fit for us. It felt sort of gloomy and all we could see from the windows were workplace parking lots. I probably wouldn't suggest this home to others.

"Decent Experience, Not Ideal Location"
I visited this place with my grandparents recently, and I didn't have any big problems with it. The staff showed up on time for our appointment and patiently answered all my questions. They had lots of fun things for the residents to do, and the meal plan seemed good. Overall, it was a pretty good time, but we decided it wasn't the right place for us in the end.

"Silver Creek offers excellent care and activities"
We brought mom to Silver Creek Assisted Living after she lived with us for 23 years. Words can't describe how happy we are with the care mom is getting. The owners and staff are very involved and make sure all our needs and expectations are met. They treat mom with the utmost respect, especially since she is 94 years old. We have no concerns about leaving mom when we go out of town. Mom doesn't have Alzheimer's and has very little dementia, so she's very aware of what's going on around her and she's totally happy there, or trust me, I'd hear about it. There are so many activities and things to do. The rooms are very clean, and I could go on, but you get the idea. If you need an assisted living facility, I would highly recommend Silver Creek.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place didn't provide as much help with benefits as promised. The rooms are nice and clean, and the services are good. Sadly, Mom and her husband didn't stay long enough to judge the meals, activities, and nursing care. Mom fell and broke her hip, and her husband's heart issues worsened due to stress. Still, it seems like a well-maintained and well-staffed assisted living facility. We wish they had more time to enjoy it.

"The best-laid plans go awry."
The assistance they promised for Veterans or ALTCS benefits fell short. The rooms are nice and clean, and the services are satisfactory. Unfortunately, Mom and her husband didn't stay long enough to evaluate meals, activities, or nursing care. Mom had a fall and broke her hip, while her husband's heart issues worsened due to stress. Overall, it seems like a well-maintained and well-staffed assisted living facility. We wish they had more time to enjoy it. .

"Wonderful place!"
We had two aunts move into Silver Creek, and they have only rave reviews. Managing their affairs from out of state has been tough, but the staff has been amazing, always in touch and supporting them. The nurses are skilled and compassionate. There's minimal staff turnover, the food is tasty, daily activities are engaging, and the residents are active and happy. Silver Creek and its staff have been our angels. We recommend them without reservation.

"Our beloved Scotty"
Our beloved Scotty lived at Silver Creek Leisure Living for over 8 years before she passed away. She loved the staff, her room, her delicious meals, and all the activities. Silver Creek was her precious home. I visited her often, day and night, and she had many medical issues, but I never saw or heard anything that caused concern. They have and run a Class Act there, taking excellent care of Scotty both physically and mentally. She became part of their large family. I can't say enough good things about Silver Creek. They are wonderful.

"Mixed Feelings About Memory Care Facility"
This was my second choice when I was looking at places. It's for people with memory problems. They keep the doors locked all the time to stop residents who wander into others' rooms and take things. They try to keep them out of there as much as possible. I wasn't sure about my loved one being locked out of her room. I worried she might forget to use her key. Overall, it's a nice place though.

"Second Choice for Memory Care"
This was my second favorite place when I checked out options. It’s for people with memory needs. They handle ‘shoppers’—those who wander into others’ rooms—by keeping the doors locked and limiting their access. I worried that my loved one might forget to use the key, though. Overall, it’s a nice place.
