"Unsatisfying Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The outside of this assisted living place looks great, and the sales people are really good at selling it. However, it's clear there aren't enough staff, or they're not supervised enough in all areas. My mom, who stays here, has had things stolen several times. They take forever to respond when she asks for help and their record keeping is sketchy. One night, she waited two hours for dinner. Twice when I visited, they were out of clean plates. The waitress said she'd wash more, but I'm not sure about the cleanliness (what about health rules?). They don't make the beds regularly...and there's lots more wrong I could talk about. There's a new person in charge who's supposedly going to fix all these problems at The Enclave. I've told her all this stuff directly, so it's not a surprise.

"Clean Facility with Lots of Activities but Limited Assistance"
The Enclave at Gilbert stood out to us because it was so clean. They have lots of activities and offer physical and occupational therapy from Monday to Friday. The staff is friendly and helpful, but if someone needs more help with their daily tasks, the staff might not have enough time for them.

"Beautiful Facility with Small Rooms, Great Staff, Amazing Tour"
Our family visited the facility in person for a tour. The tour was really great, and the staff were very nice. The place looked really beautiful, but the rooms were really small.

"Great Experience with Caring Director"
We had a good time during our stay; getting her settled in was smooth. I mostly talked to the director. She was the best person to help us through this hard time. She showed a lot of care, was super organized, knew a lot, and was just awesome.

"Food Quality Decline and Staff Turnover at Enclave Assisted Living"
My parents have lived in this place for three years. Even before Covid, the food quality went downhill – both in taste and variety. People always complain about it. I've heard that it's because they have to follow Spectrum's cooking rules. Chefs can't use their own recipes or modify Enclave's recipes, even if that's what people want. The main reason for moving here is not having to cook and expecting great food. My parents' friends joke, 'Well, at least I don't need to cook.' Directors and chefs come and go, all with good intentions for change. But after a few months, they leave, often without explaining why. Programs like the day group for people with memory problems are gone and won't return. That's one reason we chose the Enclave.

"More expensive, multi-story like a hotel"
I toured The Enclave, but it was more expensive than I wanted. It has multiple floors, so you have to use an elevator, making it feel more like a hotel.

"Lovely Grounds, Great Casitas, Dining Experience Long"
I really enjoy this place and I’d tell others to come here. The outside area is always neat and it’s just a pretty spot. They’ve got these neat little homes called casitas. Just keep in mind, if you’re going to eat in the dining room, it might take a couple of hours.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living"
I think you should give it a try; you might like it. But it's important to visit and tour different communities. The apartments lack storage - no closets for linens or hallway closets. I didn't notice this during my tour. We need more servers. Sometimes, the food isn't what we'd like. The menu names are unfamiliar to residents. It should be simplified.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The place doesn't have enough staff, so it's not perfect. But they do a good job keeping us informed through typed messages. They serve a ton of pasta, but the meal variety could be better.
