"Spacious Assisted Living Facility with Clean Environment but Challenging for Mobility"
Our family visited The Garnet of Casa Grande for a tour. It looked nice, but our loved one is blind and not very mobile. Meals were in a big dining room, not practical for her. The facility was clean but seemed a bit old-fashioned.

"Staff Safety Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
They don't thoroughly screen their staff. I've seen an employee using drugs. I even know her full name and she's previously been arrested for violent crimes. Our loved ones are living here! We need staff we can trust.

"Friendly and Clean Community with Caring Staff"
This place is really nice. It's clean and everyone is friendly. The people who work here are caring. Some residents say they don't get enough food though. There's plenty for residents to do here. They have lots of activities and even trips they can go on. I think this community is good overall. The staff here communicate well and are quick to respond to our messages about our family member.

"Mixed experiences with staff and food"
The staff at this facility is very attentive, loving, and helpful, from the maintenance man to the administrative staff. However, there needs to be a greater variety of in-house activities for those who are more mobile. The menu is repetitive, and side dishes don't always complement the entrée. Portions are sometimes ridiculously small and laughable. Meals often arrive warm instead of hot, and not as ordered or incomplete. If you arrive late within the 2-hour meal window, you might find it hard to get a clean table with complete place settings. I also question the nutrition of some meals due to the generous use of butter, cheese, and oils in cooking. Despite complaints, the quality of meals continues to decline.

"Wonderful stay with clean facilities, caring staff, and many activities."
Our mother’s six-month stay at The Garnet in Casa Grande was amazing. Her apartment was always clean, laundry services were prompt, and the neighborhood was quiet. She stayed busy and comfortable with the food and many activities. The staff, including [Name], [Name], and [Name], were accommodating and generous with their time. Although Mom is moving to California to be with family, she enjoyed her time at The Garnet, especially the field trips and the bus for errands. The reception staff were very helpful when we needed them to go to Mom’s room because her cell phone was dead. No one complained about helping, which made us feel more comfortable. [Name] in maintenance was quick and accommodating. Years ago, our grandmother, [Name], was in the Assisted Living segment and we were very pleased with her care. We think she contributed to some of the puzzles on the wall.

"Mom's Stay at Garnet: Clean, Friendly, and Full of Activities"
Our mother’s six-month stay at The Garnet in Casa Grande was fantastic. Her apartment was always clean, laundry was done quickly, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. She enjoyed the food and stayed busy with all the activities. The staff, including were friendly and generous with their time. Although Mom is now happy to be in California with family, she wanted everyone to know she loved her time at The Garnet. She especially liked the field trips and the bus for running errands. The reception staff were very helpful, especially when we needed them to check on Mom’s room because her cell phone was dead. They never complained about helping, which gave us peace of mind. The staff from maintenance was also very accommodating and quick to assist. Years ago, our grandmother was in the Assisted Living part of The Garnet, and we were very happy with her care as well. I think she even contributed to some of those puzzles on the wall.

"Review: Assisted Living Facility Lacks Gluten-Free Options, Too Warm"
The place is pretty good and the workers are nice. However, they don't make meals for people who can't eat gluten. They told me to just not pick the meals with gluten in them. They even suggested that my family could bring in gluten free food for me. Plus, the place is just too warm for me. I have MS and need it to be around 72-73 degrees, but it's hotter than that there.

"A Welcoming Gem for Seniors"
The Garnet of Casa Grande is a lovely place both inside and out. We’re thrilled with our choice for my mother-in-law. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and she’s doing much better here. The food is great, and they offer lots of activities. What stands out is how they encourage residents to participate—they even knock on doors! The location and price are just right. We highly recommend The Garnet.

"Fantastic Place with Great Care and Activities"
The Garnet of Casa Grande is a great place, both outside and inside. We are so happy with the choice we made for my mother-in-law. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and she’s doing much better thanks to the care she’s receiving. We’ve eaten there with her, and the food is really good. They have lots of activities and really encourage the residents to join in. They even knock on doors to invite them and let them know they’ll come back tomorrow if they don’t want to join today. The location is perfect for us, and the price is right. We’d definitely recommend The Garnet to others.

"Not the Right Fit for My Husband"
The Garnet of Casa Grande looked nice, but it wasn't right for my husband. The stairs made me uneasy—I worried he might fall. I needed a safer option.

"Subpar Assisted Living Facility with Safety Concerns"
This place seemed neglected. Maintenance was sloppy. Walls needed attention. Staff felt indifferent. Food was poor quality. Neighborhood felt unsafe.

"The Silver Rest: Assisted Living with Safety and Quality Concerns"
The Golden Years Home: Room for Improvement" The upkeep of this place wasn't too great. It seemed like they didn't put much effort into taking care of the building. I mean, even I could have done a better job with those walls. The person who showed us around was nice, but the rest of the staff seemed to just be doing their jobs and nothing more. The food they gave us, well, it wasn't very good. It was below par. The area around the home didn't seem safe either. The whole neighborhood, including the residence, looked a bit shabby. What's more, it's right next to a busy street, which could be risky for someone with dementia or needing a walker.

"Great staff and safe, happy environment at The Garnet!"
My mother has lived at The Garnet for over 5 years. During this time, there have been 3 Directors, changing staff, and new policies that have raised her monthly costs. The current Director has been there through all these changes. She started as the Business Manager and worked her way up. She is always friendly, approachable, and fair. She does her best to keep residents safe, and happy, and their homes affordable. She is a valuable part of The Garnet, and the 'Garnet' family is lucky to have her. My mother feels happy and safe there. Although some costs are high, my mother says, "If you can’t live at home, this is the next best place to be.

"A Great Place When Home Isn’t an Option"
My mother has lived at The Garnet for over five years, going through three different directors, changing staff, and new policies that have made the costs go up. Tammy, the current Director, has been there for all these changes, starting as the Business Manager and now holding her current position. She’s always been friendly, approachable, and fair with the rules she has to enforce. Tammy does her best to keep everyone safe, happy, and make sure the place stays affordable. She’s a great part of The Garnet, and I think the facility is lucky to have her. My mother feels happy and safe there. Even though some of the costs are high, my mother says, If you can't live at home, this is the next best place to be.

"Pricey Yet Pleasant Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
They charge a bit much, but Mom likes it there, and they're nice to her. She doesn't need much, but they provide her meals three a day plus snacks. The cleaning is okay. Sometimes they say they'll come back, but they don't, so my sister and I do it. There's a lot happening there. People play piano and cards, and there are games. They bring in folks for exercise, the kind they can handle. It seems busy there. But for the price, Mom only gets meals and her room. We give her meds and clean her room. They could pay more attention to those things, I think.

"A Lot Going On"
I think their prices are a bit high, but Mom likes it there, and they're nice to her. She doesn't need much, but they provide three meals a day plus snacks. Housekeeping is okay, although they haven't always come back when promised, so my sister and I did it. There's a lot happening there. People play the piano, cards, and games. They even have exercise sessions. It seems busy. However, considering the cost, my mother mainly gets meals and her room. More attention could be given to those areas.
