"Cozy Tour, Mixed Feelings"

I hoped for a cozy, enclosed space in a friendly neighborhood, but this community didn’t quite fit my loved one’s needs. The tour was informative, though.

"“Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living – A Grateful Transition”"

Big thanks to Colleen and her team! The place was cozy and friendly. They guided us through everything, and their knowledge and kindness made Mom’s move smooth. They even coordinated with a New York doctor. Forever grateful for making Mom feel at home.

"A Sub-Par Care Facility: Valley Oasis's Negative Review"

We placed our mom in Valley Oasis and the sole positive asset was their fantastic staff, though they didn't stick around for long. Our mom noticeably lost weight and constantly felt hungry. On top of that, basic essentials like toilet paper ran out, so we had to provide both toilet paper and additional food and drinks like bottled water and snacks for our mom. Seldom would her snacks remain with her, as they would be seized and shared among the other residents without her consent. Coming by for his uncle, there was a man who intimidated both the residents and the staff. When the owner did not intervene, some staff members left their jobs. We eventually had to take our mom to the police station to lodge a complaint. She was reluctant to press charges out of fear of potential backlash. It ended up being the worst decision we have ever made. I strongly advise against entrusting a loved one to this care facility.

"Stay Away From Valley Oasis: Disrespectful Environment And Poor Management"

We had our mom residing at Valley Oasis and about the only positive thing I can mention is that, initially at least, the staff members seemed excellent. That said, they never stayed around for long. We noticed our mother's health deteriorating as she started to lose a significant amount of weight due to what seemed like constant hunger. The facility also had issues with maintaining essentials, such as running out of toilet paper, which prompted us to start supplying our mom with it. We further provided her with bottled water and snacks, yet these items would bizarrely be seized and distributed amongst other residents, leaving our mom with very little. While she would have willingly shared, the situation was made disrespectful by the fact that she wasn't even given a choice. Furthermore, there was a man constantly visiting his relative, whose behavior towards other residents and staff was quite troubling. The staff turnover increased when the owner seemingly chose to do nothing about his disruptive conduct. We felt compelled to take our mom to the police station to make a report, but fears of backlash stopped her from pressing charges. In hindsight, we feel that was arguably our biggest mistake. I strongly advise against entrusting anyone you care deeply about to this facility.

"New Assisted Living Home: Closer and Growing"

The new home doesn't have Altec yet, but it will have 6-8 private rooms with 4-5 bathrooms. It's closer to our house than other places I've visited.

"Spacious Home with Independent Residents"

I really liked this place, but it costs a little more than the others. The residents here are more independent, and the home is bigger, accommodating 10 people.

"A Clean, Caring Oasis"

The place is super clean and full of kindness. like an angel. My mom wanted her own room, but they didn’t have any available, so we kept looking. I really suggest Valley Oasis. Much love!

"Comfortable and clean with friendly staff, but too much care."

I visited this place with my mom. The people there were nice and answered our questions. The place was clean and looked comfy. But, my mom didn't need all the help they offered.

"Wonderful home for Mom"

Valley Oasis has been a true blessing for my mother and our family. Colleen and her caring staff made the move-in experience smooth, and the happiness of the residents made Mom feel comfortable right away. The home is pleasant, clean, well-organized, and has responsive medical attention if needed. Our family highly recommends it.

"Dad Disappointed with Small Bedrooms at Assisted Living Facility"

The rooms were too cramped for two beds. Dad won't like it since he's used to a big house. It's just not right for him.

"Owner-operated home for 8 residents, private payment required first"

I chatted with the owner of this place. They have 8 people living here, and it's run by the owner and her husband. They mentioned that they prefer if residents can pay privately for 9 to 12 months before considering ALTCS.
