"Poor Care and Neglect Mark Dad's Stay at Assisted Living Facility"
We thought we'd chosen the right place for our loved one, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. The staff doesn't make sure every resident's basic needs are met, like food. We noticed Dad was getting thinner, but it took a while to find out the cause – the staff had lost his dentures! No one thought to question this, nor did they give Dad any help to eat without them. They just left him in bed or in a chair, never helping him to get up and move around. As a result, he developed a bed sore. The only time we ever got any information from them was when we called and asked specific questions ourselves. When we confronted the director, he just blamed us for unrelated things. My plea to you is don't put yourself in our shoes.

"Caring Staff and Fun Activities Make Granny Happy"
This place has many caring people. Granny loves being at home, so finding Visions was a relief. They offer lots of activities and fun for the residents. I was unsure at first, but she is doing well. They help with the things she struggles with, even though it’s challenging with many residents. Housekeeping is a bit slow, but she is okay.

"Limited Activities, Nice Staff: Consider Multiple Tours Before Deciding"
I visited this community for a tour. The staff was friendly and ready to assist. They answered all my questions. However, I wasn't impressed with the community itself. It was tidy and well-kept, but it didn't seem like the right place for my friend. There weren't many activities available, which was disappointing. I would recommend that families tour several places before choosing one.

"Community Tour Review"
I visited this place. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions. But the community didn't impress me. It was clean but not right for my friend. It felt like they didn't offer many activities. I'd suggest families tour lots of places before deciding.

"Terrible Visitation Experience at Visions Senior Living"
Visions Senior Living Mesa has had a change in leadership since I visited. The place looks ancient, rundown, and the paint is horrible. There were rooms colored in glaring yellow and purple, plus some of the floors were warped. It's really old-fashioned and doesn't seem safe at all. They also don't have enough chairs for residents to sit and watch TV, and the existing ones are torn and ragged. It's clear that it hasn't been properly maintained. When I asked about cleaning, they told me they do it weekly at the most. I would never suggest Visions Senior Living to anyone.

"Great Location, Clean and Caring Place for Dad"
This is a nice place with a great location, close to shopping and food. My father just moved in, and he seems much better now, both mentally and physically, compared to his old place. It’s very clean, and the staff is really kind.

"Ask All Questions Before Signing at Bee Hive"
At first, I really liked Bee Hive's assisted living facilities. Then, I learned I wasn't getting all the information. For instance, I had to find out on my own if they took the Altex program. They said no, which really affected our plans. They were about to let us move in using our own money for some time. If I had not asked the right questions before signing, who knows what would have happened. My advice is to make sure you're asking everything because they won't tell you things that don't help them. When I brought it up, they said they would reduce some things, but the point is, I was the one who had to ask first to find out.

"Mixed Feelings About Bee Hive Homes"
I talked to about six other places before choosing Bee Hive Homes. In terms of value, I believe all the places were too expensive, and Bee Hive is no exception. However, they don't offer transportation for residents here. On the bright side, the staff is very friendly. As for activities, I haven't seen any yet.

"Friendly Staff, Pricey, No Transportation"
I talked to about 6 other places before choosing Bee Hive Homes. All the places seemed overpriced, including Bee Hive, but it's not worse than the others. They don't provide transportation for residents here. The staff is very friendly. I can't really rate the activities they offer because I haven't seen any yet.
