"Facility Decline After Management Change, No Longer Recommend"
When we first arrived, the lady who helped us was really nice. In the beginning, everything seemed perfect - they paid a lot of attention to us and talked with us a lot. But then, another company bought them, and it all changed. Now it's all about making money, and things aren't as good. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone unless they get better bosses.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: Mom's Tragic Experience"
Picking a community seemed careful, but outcomes unpredictable. Mom stayed 3 ½ months with 3 nurse managers, one not even on staff. When she went to the hospital, nobody informed me, nor returned my calls. Lack of communication throughout her stay. No added precautions with staff, leading to my mom's tragic demise. Masks prohibited for staff without any valid reason.

"Great Assisted Living Facility!"
For a 40-year-old place, this assisted living facility was really nice. It was clean, smelled good, and had a pretty campus with grass and trees. The best part was [name removed] herself – she knew a lot and asked helpful questions about Mom. The only downside was a long waitlist for assisted living. But [name removed] explained how Mom could still be independent using their resources. We really liked this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Clean, Small, Limited Amenities"
The person who greeted me seemed surprised, mentioning she often receives referrals from Home for Mom and may have overlooked my appointment. Luckily, she eventually found time to meet with me when another meeting got canceled. The facility appears nice enough, with cleanliness and some charm. However, it's a small community, and it seems their maintenance department isn't always quick to respond. The meal options are limited, with a hot lunch and boxed supper. There's a small TV/WiFi/meeting room and an adequate but small pool and Jacuzzi for four. The apartments are okay, but they have an old-fashioned intercom system that doesn't always work for announcements.

"Needs Improvements: Older Building, Limited Caregiver Availability, Inconvenient Showers"
The building's pretty old, from back in '82. They don't have caregivers around all the time, and getting to the showers isn't easy.

"Elderly care facility needs improvements, safety concerns raised during tour."
The place feels old and boring. You have to go outside to get to everything, and it’s really hot, which isn’t good for my elderly relative. The balconies don’t seem safe either. The person showing us around was nice, but didn’t know much because she usually works somewhere else. She couldn’t even open the door to show us a room, so we had to wait outside in the heat. They said sorry, but overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

"Elderly Facility Falls Short; Unsafe and Inconvenient Setup"
The place looks old and boring. You have to go outside to get to any part of it, which is hard for my elderly relative, especially when it's super hot. The balconies seem unsafe. During the tour, the guide was friendly but didn't know much about the place and couldn't even open a door to show us a room. They said sorry, but overall, I wouldn't tell anyone to go here.

"Shabby Maintenance at Westchester Forces Move"
For two years, from February 2016 to January 2018, my mom lived in the independent living section of Westchester. Although not the fanciest on the market, the place was decently maintained during the first year. But in the last year, it's gone downhill fast. We ended up moving my mom to another place because things were getting really bad. The apartments needed repairs that were not being done, and the outdoor areas and parking lot looked sloppy. My advice to you if you're thinking about Westchester? Keep looking.

"Overall, a Good Place But Keep an Eye on Things"
Moving into this community was tough. The staff wasn't great, but with new directors, things got better. Overall, it's good, but stay vigilant.

"Memory Care Unit Feels Unwelcoming and Inactive"
When I checked out places for my loved one, this one was at the bottom. The neighborhood and living spaces are pretty and welcoming. But the memory care part? It felt like a hospital for the mind. Doors were shut tight, and it seemed like everyone was just locked away. The folks there looked okay, but nobody was really doing much. Everyone else was friendly enough, but I couldn’t imagine leaving someone I care about in that place. If you still got your wits about you, you’d probably go stir-crazy there.

"Great Facility but Location Too Busy"
I visited Westchester and thought it was a great place. However, it felt like it was in a busier area with lots of parking lots. I really wanted a quieter, more tucked-away spot for my loved one.

"Poor Response and Disappointed by Run-Down Facility"
I've gotten no response from these guys. I tried setting things up on their website two times, but there's always no management around on the weekends, which is a shame. The woman at the front desk was kind and gave me a pamphlet along with an honest sorry. Even though it's the cheapest option, the building's exterior looks rough, and where it's located doesn't make me feel too great. Looks like because they couldn't have the decency to respond, I don't need to stress over it.

"Outdated Assisted Living with Polite Staff"
I didn't like this place during my tour for my loved one. The community looked old and outdated, and it wasn't very clean. I wouldn't want my parent or loved one living here. The staff was polite, though.
