"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Fails to Impress Residents"
I really didn't like this place. It's managed badly, and they keep changing the people in charge. We only stayed for 5 months before leaving. I think it's better if the company visits the facilities before suggesting them.

"Assisted Living Excellence with Room for Improvement"
Westmont Village isn't perfect, but it's quite good overall. They offer excellent programs and various activities. The grounds resemble a beautiful park, and the rooms boast lovely views. The front desk staff are friendly and always helpful, especially with package inquiries. They even deliver heavy packages to your room. The nurses are amazing; they responded promptly during my emergency and stayed until I left for the hospital. The maintenance team is fantastic; they're always pleasant, thorough, and eager to assist further. The food is of good quality, with a nice variety and delicious flavors. While most servers are great, a few could benefit from more training. My only major concern is housekeeping; they tend to cut corners, like only cleaning my shower once in the last eight weeks. However, most of the staff are willing to help beyond their roles. Overall, I would recommend Westmont Village to others.

"Headline: 'Broken Promises and Poor Care at Assisted Living Facility'"
My relative moved to this place in December 2022 and we had to relocate her by August 2023 because their service was far from good. They assured us many things when she moved in, but none of it was fulfilled. In the course of just 8 months, they changed three different directors, none of whom I ever had a chance to talk to. The staff also changed constantly, making it impossible to follow up with anyone. Whenever I tried to contact them, they had already replaced someone new in the position. The food they offered was terrible. The choices were not only tasteless, but didn't meet nutritional standards. Every time I visited, I found the place too quiet, like a ghost town. All the residents were in their apartments. My sister was really bored there, she said there was not a single interesting thing to do. There was also no nice outdoor area for relaxing, except for a few plastic chairs near a temporary smoker’s corner. Lastly, they paid no attention to clean the rooms. We had to complain several times about the state of her room, which seemed as though someone just waved their hand around and thought they had cleaned.

"Unprofessional Staff Ruins Assisted Living Experience"
The young guy in the main office is mean. I wouldn't tell anybody's grandma or grandpa to live here. This place should be nice, not filled with people who are lazy and mean. It's uncomfortable and not at all professional.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The person who sold us on this place made it seem way nicer than it really is. They said they have their own medical team and skilled nurses, but it's not as good as they made it sound. Look for another place. I wouldn't tell anyone to come here.

"Not quite the right fit, good tour but hospital-like feel"
We had a good tour at Westmont Village. The reason we didn't choose it for our loved one was mainly the layout. The memory care area was just one part of a larger building and felt more like a nursing home or hospital.

"Needs Better Staff Training at Westmont"
I’m not sure I’d tell folks to pick Westmont right now. It seems like a lot of places don’t have enough workers, but some are handling it better than others. At Westmont, I’ve seen that the medical techs and nurses don’t talk to each other enough. They should have a clear plan written down showing who’s doing what and when. I get that it’s not a hospital, but there are many sick people in assisted living who need more care. The building itself is nice, with a good layout, different rooms, and parking spots. But what really matters is the people who run it. The staff, especially the medical techs, need better training. They don’t even know they should change the oxygen tubes regularly or clean the air filters. I’m a nurse, so I notice these things. Someone really needs to teach them properly.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We really like that there's medical staff on site. Even though our loved ones are in independent living, they can still get extra help for a fee. However, they need to improve housekeeping and dining service. The dining room isn't functional—it's more like a buffet, making it hard for those with walkers or scooters to carry trays. There are no dining servers, and the dishwasher is broken, so they use plastic plates and utensils. If you want meals delivered to your room, it costs extra money.

"Costly but Clean"
I visited this place, and it looked really nice. It was super clean and everyone was friendly. But it cost more than other options nearby.

"Clean facility, good care, dining accessibility concerns"
We're pleased with the clean facility, despite recent staff changes. Food's good. Residents' dining accessibility could improve.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short: Honest, But Poor Services"
They're having trouble keeping and hiring staff, like most companies. But they don't listen when you tell them what's not getting done. Remember, what they show you on the tour isn't the whole truth. If they were more honest, they'd get better ratings for being upfront about what they can't do. We were promised many great things for my mom, but none of it's true. The daily staff are nice, but they're slow to respond, which seems to be a problem from the top. We had a billing problem, and it took them seven weeks to respond after I emailed them 15 times. The care services are bad, and I had to cancel some because they wouldn't provide them, even after I asked multiple times. The food's alright, but it used to be much better with salad bars. They have lots of activities, which is good, especially considering Covid. But it's expensive, and it's not worth it. If I knew then what I know now about Westmont, I wouldn't have moved my mom there.
