"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living: Great Care, But Cost Concerns"

My mom passed away recently. Instead of charging $[removed] per day for four days (which would've been fair), they charged $[removed] for 10 days. After three months, they increased the monthly fee by $[removed]. So it went from [removed] per month to [removed] per month in July 2023. It's a very clean place and they take good care of residents. But, be careful with finances when planning. I'd give them five stars for care, but only three for fair business practices based on my experience. When you're discussing care for your loved one, make sure to get everything in writing. If I had known this, I would've definitely insisted on it.
