"Mixed Feelings"

We had a nice tour at Atria Daly City, but the facility quality didn't quite match some others we considered.

"Underwhelming Assisted Living Facility Lacks Private Bathrooms"

We visited this place, but we weren't too impressed. They didn't have bathrooms for each room, and overall it didn't meet what we hoped for. It was cheaper than others nearby.

"Friendly Community with No Regrets!"

The whole community is great. The staff are friendly, and the residents make you feel welcome. I’m thrilled to live here and wouldn’t change a thing.

"Great tour, very informative, exceeded expectations"

We really liked the tour. [Name] told us a lot about the place. The facility was way different from what my mom thought. Thanks for showing us our choices.

"Bright Assisted Living with Cozy Rooms"

This home is really nice, with friendly staff and happy residents. The dining room is bright and inviting, leading to a pleasant outdoor area for sunning and eating. The rooms are private but a bit small.

"Best place for happy living!"

When I first arrived, the place was so clean and well-maintained that I fell in love. I came for my mother-in-law and decided this was the place for her. I would recommend this place to anyone and give them a 5 in all areas. The staff is very friendly, and the residents all smile, which is a big plus. You couldn't find anyone more interested in their job and people than Rinaly and his assistant. Love Atria!!

"Charming Community"

When we visited this community, we really liked it. The property looked beautiful, the landscaping was well taken care of, and the inside was clean without that clinical smell. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the resident apartments were a bit small, which might not be ideal for my dad.

"Perfect Choice for Mom’s New Home"

When searching for a place, you want it to feel welcoming for your parent. Atria did just that. We let Mom choose, and her feelings were the most important. She first noticed that the staff was friendly and the place was safe and clean. She was also drawn to the activities, which she missed at her old place. The final room she picked suits her new life, and she has made it her own. After 62 years of Dad making the tough choices, it’s hard to take over. Atria is the perfect size, and we feel we made a great choice for Mom. Thank you, Atria Daly City!

"Friendly Staff, Yet Outdated with Shared Bathrooms"

I didn't have any major issues when I visited this place. Everybody was really nice and made me and my family feel welcomed. But, I did think that the place looked a bit old-fashioned and I didn't really like the shared bathroom situation. She would definitely prefer to have her own bathroom in her room for privacy. It just wasn't the right place for her to live.

"Facility too crowded, not suitable for mom."

I wasn't really at ease or impressed during my visit to this community. It seemed too tight and packed for the number of people currently living there. No standout features or services caught my attention. The building was dated, giving off more of an old hotel vibe. Sadly, it wasn't what my mom needed.

"Mom's Happy and Well Cared For Here"

My mom's really doing well here; it's a lot better. There's lots of different foods she can pick from, and she eats in a dining room that feels like a restaurant. She likes doing exercise, doing stuff with others, and they go on cool trips every week. Everyone who works and lives here are good folks. The place is super clean and looks great. They even help out with car rides to the doctor's office, but just on Tuesdays. Yet, that's super helpful. I'd tell everyone about this place!

"Highly Recommend Atria Daly City for Seniors!"

The Atria Daly City staff is super helpful and awesome. My dad enjoys the food options—they have lots to choose from. I'd suggest this place to others. They keep it really clean and in good shape. The only thing I'd mention is they could help seniors fit in better with the community. Debra from A Place for Mom was amazing.

"Amazing Place for Mom"

Things have been great for my mom since she moved into Atria. She is doing well, and I’m happy we chose this place. The community is awesome and looks fantastic, always clean and tidy. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, and kind to my mom. The food is delicious and tastes really good. She has made some new friends with the other residents. They made the move-in process super easy for us, and I would totally recommend this community.

"Hoping Mom can stay here!"

Mom loves it at Atria Daly City, and so do I. The staff are always nice and friendly, and they keep the place very clean. Mom really likes the food and joins in many activities. I hope everything works out so Mom can stay.

"Passable Facility Under Construction, Unready for Guest Visits"

The place was just okay, they weren't ready for our visit, and it's currently under construction.

"Flexible Dining and Engaging Activities, but Motivation Needed"

The food at this place is really good. People who live there can choose what they want to eat and when they want to eat it, which is nice. The activities they have are pretty good too, but they could try a bit harder to get more residents involved.

"They Did a Great Job with Rehab"

They took care of my client after his surgery and helped with his rehabilitation. They did a great job with meals and were very attentive. The only complaint he had was about cleanliness because some other residents were incontinent, and I’m not sure how they handled that.

"Room for Improvement"

I think they could do better with taking care of my mom. That's why I gave it three stars for value. My mom needs a lot of care, so the rent is a good price, but the cost for taking care of her is really high. I say that because before she came to Atria, we had someone privately taking care of her, and she got much better care from them than she does here. She wasn't even at Atria for very long.

"Great, friendly place with decent food variety."

The facility is very comfortable and friendly. The food was okay but had a good variety.

Atria Daly City staff are very caring, meeting residents' needs.

"Decent Experience at Atria, but Needs More Staff for Care"

Our time at Atria was mostly good, but they didn't seem to have enough staff to provide the care they promised. The people working there are kind, but the care we got wasn't as much as we thought we'd get. This place is okay for people who can look after themselves, but maybe not for anyone needing personal care. I think they could use more staff for personal care.

"Cruise ship vibes; too big, but lots of fun activities."

We checked out this place while searching. I thought it was cool, and if they had the care we needed, we might've picked it. It felt like a big cruise ship, but that was too much for my family member. Still, I appreciated all the fun things to do and the chance to socialize.

"Atria Daly City: Great Respite Care!"

We stayed at Atria Daly City for respite care for ten days. It was a great experience! The staff was very helpful, and the prices were reasonable. They have nurse aides to assist with personal care and administer medications as needed. My mom really enjoyed the food. Overall, it's a fantastic place. Plus, they accept people right away, without any waiting period.

"Review of Atria Daly City Assisted Living in Daly City, CA"

According to my daughter, she visited Atria Daly City. She thought the building was a bit old but well-maintained. she observed the community and residents, looking through my eyes. She noticed a lively group of three women, possibly in their seventies, laughing and chatting. They were nicely dressed with makeup on. However, she mentioned that the facility lacked outdoor spaces with trees and grass. Since I'll likely have my dog, I prefer something less urban but close to amenities.she only saw a studio, but she agreed that a one-bedroom would be better. She also warned that Daly City's foggy climate might worsen my back problems on rainy days. She suggested checking out Walnut Creek, which isn't far and might have a better climate for me.

"Clean, Friendly, but Slow Response; Assessment Process Could Improve"

This place is really clean, and the people are friendly, which is great. They have a lot of fun activities to do. Sometimes, though, they take a bit too long to come when I press the alert button. They're pretty good at getting to my requests, though. They check on everyone when they come in and again after a month, which is good, but I think they should do it more often because things can change fast.

"First Week at Atria Daly City: Finding Friendly Spaces"

My brother-in-law's been at Atria Daly City for just over a week now and is still finding his place. In some ways, it's been tough for him, with some things not really being about the care home. A thing that happened was a worker there was a little grouchy, telling him to move as he was in a spot for a game, while visiting with a guest. Plus, he's been told off for sitting in certain spots in the eating area by other people living there, who are kind of possessive about their spaces. It feels like it'd be better if they had a friendlier, more open feel to help new people feel at home.

"Severe Decline After Loss of Director"

The director who used to run the place perfectly has left, and everything has turned into chaos since then. My family member had unattended sores, things kept getting lost, and the caretakers weren't doing good enough. They mass fired everyone, too. The cost was ridiculous and people came and went way too often. Many residents moved out. The poor actions from this assisted living resulted in my family member getting sick. Bath services are a part of what we were paying for, but how do they miss glaring health issues like a sore while bathing them? We finally exited this place, and we're relieved.

"Not Ideal for Solitary Residents"

This place wouldn't have been right for my sister-in-law. I think it didn't look right for her. I felt like people were often in the hallways and interacting a lot. She likes to be left alone, so I didn't think this was the right place for her.

"She Tour: A Low-Cost Facility with a Homely Touch"

She showed me around the old but decent facility. I pointed out a few cheap improvements that could make the rooms nicer. She mentioned their goal is to make the residents feel like part of the Atria 'family'. This place seems to give the most services for the least money, like actually going with her to the doc's office. The staff checks in on the residents a lot during the day and a nurse is there at night, unlike other places where it's only an LRV. This makes it very worth the money, which matters a lot. I think my Mom will probably choose this place for its good prices. I'd pick a room in the courtyard for her.

"Concerned with Recent Staff Turnover"

We really like the price, the location, and the care—it seems good. But there's something bothering us: some staff members have left recently. We're not sure if they were fired or quit, but it's noticeable how many people we used to know are no longer here. The Executive Director, Medical Director, and primary salesman all left. My wife had a great relationship with the Medical Director, and now that she's gone, we're worried. Overall, we're satisfied with Atria. I wouldn't discourage anyone from moving in because it's been a positive experience. However, we do have concerns about the staff turnover.

"Great Care and Options"

This place offers excellent care services. They're professional and helpful. My aunt is well taken care of here. They offer a variety of meals, and if she doesn't like something, she can choose an alternative. There are activities available, although my aunt tends to keep to herself. Sometimes she enjoys listening to someone play piano. Overall, I recommend this facility. It's a good value for the quality of care provided.

"Appreciated the Director, Not the Old, Noisy Facility"

I liked the boss and the people there seemed lively. But the place is really old, worn out, messy and smells like cleaning solution. The doors are thin, the rooms are noisy, tiny and just not okay.

"Warm welcome and friendly staff"

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The staff greeted us warmly.

"Pushy Sales, But Generous Offer; Restroom Entrance Tight"

The doorway to the restroom seems narrow. They were really eager for a move in by next Monday, which was a little too much sales pressure for me. However, they kindly offered to cover the cost of his current 30-day notice...

"Mom's Trial Stay Just Okay, Would Return if Allowed"

My mom spent a test period here and felt it was alright. The staff is friendly, but the living spaces are snug, and the meals are so-so. If they could accept her even with her injuries, we're open to relocating her here again.

"Great care, affordable price, friendly staff, and lots of freedom"

This place looks really good. It offers the care we need at a price we can afford. The staff is nice, and the residents seem to enjoy a lot of freedom. During our visit, Teresa decided to move into Atria on a month-to-month basis. She will start there on March 12th with a few of her things. If she likes it after a month, we’ll bring more of her furniture.

"Excellent care and friendly environment"

The staff and services at this facility are excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they truly care about the residents. The activities and meals are wonderful, and the environment feels like home. I am so grateful for everything they do!

"Great place but too costly for us."

This place is wonderful! She would enjoy it, and they would really care about her. Unfortunately, it’s too expensive for us.
