"Mixed Feelings: Clean, Friendly Assisted Living, But Resident Wanted Home"

My husband took my father-in-law to the assisted living place, so I didn't see it myself. My husband liked how friendly the staff was. He said the meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were good. He thought the place was clean and nice. But my father-in-law didn't join in any activities there; he wasn't interested. Mostly, he just wanted to go back home. So, eventually, we let him go home to see how he'd do there.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

Everything is super clean, the food tastes great, and everyone is nice and ready to assist. But I keep wondering about what, where, and when, which is my main concern now. Unfortunately, there's not much to do. I wish they'd give us a briefing on what we're supposed to do. Also, there's no transportation to my church, so I need to remember to schedule appointments.

"A beautiful place with caring staff—look no further!"

Atria Golden Creek is a beautiful place with lots of activities and a kind, caring staff. They took great care of our mom and even brought in hospice services, so she could stay in a place that felt like her own apartment, not a nursing home. Once I found Atria, I stopped searching. They handled everything, and I highly recommend them!

"Positive Visit!"

I visited this community for my loved one, and I don't have any complaints. The staff arrived on time for our appointment and answered all my questions in detail. They had a great floor plan with lots of helpful information about what they offer. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right location for us in the end.

"Nice Place, But Pricey and Cramped"

The place was really tidy and pleasant. But, it cost more than we hoped to spend and the rooms weren’t big enough. We thought we wouldn’t really be getting what we paid for there.

"Happy Daughter Loves Atria Golden Creek's Great Care and Amenities"

My mom just moved into Atria Golden Creek. The rooms are small but all updated, the restaurant is great with lots of choices, and there are many activities. The care staff is really friendly and is helping her adjust well. Out of all the places we visited in the area, this one, along with the other nearby property, is definitely the best.

"A Cozy, Caring Place That Feels Like Home"

When I toured this place, I saw how cozy and welcoming it was. It felt like the perfect spot for my mom, so we decided to move her here. She’s been thriving since then. The staff is fantastic and truly cares. My mom loves the meal choices and activities available to her. Every time I visit, the community looks great and well-kept. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring environment.

"Really Nice But A Little Costly"

My mom and I had a pretty good time at this place. The workers were friendly to both of us and really spent time making us feel comfortable and showing us around. The building and everything in it was clean and taken care of very well. They had a lot of cool stuff for the people who lived there. Though it was just a bit pricey for what we can afford.

"Assisted Living Delivers Caring Environment for Mom's Comfort"

We've had a good time adjusting to Mom's new place, though sometimes her stuff gets mixed up with others'. The staff are really nice and treat her like family. They let pets stay and even make special meals if needed. Mom's loving her filet mignon every day! The place is great, especially their dementia program. They keep Mom busy with lots of activities so she sleeps well at night. The staff also help with her medicine. I appreciate that everything's included, no surprises at the end of the month.

"Beautifully Updated with Great Care and Delicious Food"

The place looks amazing with all the new furniture and renovations. The staff takes great care of my dad and keeps him busy with fun activities. They have lots of food choices, and my dad says everything tastes great.

"Meals are great, staff goes above and beyond!"

I’m living at Atria Golden Creek, and I’m really happy with my experience. The meals they serve are all great, though I wish the activities had more variety. The staff has gone above and beyond to meet my care needs. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends or family.

"A Wonderful Place for Seniors"

Atria Golden Creek was recommended to us by many people, including residents and professionals. It's a fantastic place with lots of fun activities and a great staff. There are games, movies, presentations, outings, and exercise groups happening all the time. The residents' apartments are cleaned every week, and the whole place is spotless. The dining room is amazing with delicious and healthy food served by kind and caring servers. The café is open 24/7 and has yummy baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, sandwiches, and drinks like coffee, tea, and milk. When you walk in the front door, you're greeted with a smile, and you can always smell something good cooking in the kitchen. Every staff member is attentive, kind, polite, and friendly, and they know every resident by name! It's such a welcoming and engaging community where all aspects of senior living are taken care of. My family highly recommends Atria Golden Creek!

"Terrible Experience, No Support"

It was a bad experience for us at this place. The staff didn't help at all. My wife was only there for one day, and I had to move her out. It was awful, and I wouldn't tell anyone to go here. The owner didn't cooperate with me. They still want me to pay an extra $2000.

"Fantastic Dining Experience"

"Dad's New Home: Mostly Good, Some Room for Improvement"

My dad's been at this place for two months. I wish he'd join in more activities. But I'm not around all the time, so I can't tell if they're encouraging him or not. What I do know is, my dad hasn't complained, and I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

"Spotless Facility with Friendly, Professional Staff Worth the Cost"

Atria Golden Creek is spotless. The staff is top-notch. It cost a bit, but it was worth every penny. My husband stayed there briefly for respite care, and during that time, the whole team was very professional. They were super friendly and made sure the residents were comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.

"Helpful Staff and Great Care for Residents"

The staff at this place is extremely helpful and really cares about the residents. They are quick to respond in emergencies. Mary, the intake director, is amazing. The food is excellent. Even though my mother-in-law's daughter couldn’t move her furniture into the room, they provided everything needed to make her feel at home.

They’re doing an excellent job. We’re extremely happy with everything so far. We highly recommend this place. He has adjusted really well. I know their memory care well, and I would rate it very highly.

"Fantastic Service and Beautiful Setting at This Assisted Living Facility"

We’ve been very pleased with this place. It’s really nice, well-kept, and the outdoor areas are great. The staff is super friendly and knows everyone’s name. The food tastes great. Whenever I called about something like a broken glass or help with the cable, they responded really quickly and took care of it in no time. They’ve been amazing.

"Very good care and friendly staff"

They have been great at letting us know if there are any issues with my grandmother. Since I walked in, they have been super friendly and willing to meet our needs and requests. One thing that could improve is the activities. Grandmother does pretty much the same thing every day, and more variety would be good. Overall, we are very pleased with Atria Golden Creek.

"Friendly staff, great environment, and excellent support for residents"

The residents and staff are super friendly to each other. People are always smiling. It’s a really positive place. I can see that the staff truly cares. A family friend lives there and loves it a lot. They’ve really impressed me by keeping all their promises. Moving in and getting daily help has been really well organized. They’ve encouraged her to meet new people and made sure she has company at meals. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience.

"Excellent Memory Care Facility!"

Overall, Atria Golden Creek does a great job. I'm especially impressed with their memory care unit, which I'd rate a 5! Unlike other places I visited, the residents in their memory care section are alert, engaged, and social. The staff member who gave us the tour was knowledgeable and professional.

"Decent Place with Room for Improvement"

The stuff they do here is kinda hard to tell 'cause we're in memory care, but sometimes it seems like there's activities listed but not always happening. We don't have a lot of chances to socialize, and the memory care program is small. They don't really have a proper exercise plan, just some chair movements sometimes. But the food and laundry are okay, and everyone's nice and it's clean. Overall, it's alright, but could be better.

The staff here is really friendly. The community is super clean, and I’m very particular about that. The staff is not only professional and caring but also very responsive. The outdoor area is really nice. They offer a lot of different activities like art, exercise classes, trips, and movies. The food is top-notch.

This place was great and had a friendly community. It was clean and welcoming. However, we were looking for something with fewer people and a less corporate feel. This one was a bit too big for us.

"Beautiful place. Great program and family-friendly."

This place is beautiful. They have a great program where memory care and assisted living are together. There's a smaller memory unit within the larger community. It's very family-friendly. Located in Woodbridge. Private rooms and baths. It's on the high end. They also have outings.

"Amazing staff and director, great activities and food"

This place is awesome, especially the staff. They are super caring and easy to talk to. She loves the bus trips and all the different activities. The food is tasty. The director is amazing and always available. She really goes above and beyond for everyone and makes them feel special. You can reach her anytime by email or phone. She's fantastic!

"Amazing experience, highly recommend!"

It was amazing. The staff, the people, the food—everything was great. The facility was nice, but it was pricey, and I didn't need any care. We moved in too early and were still living independently, so we paid for things we didn't use. That wasn't their fault, though. I was elected president of the resident council, and I highly recommend it.

I really liked this place too, but I felt the other Atria had a nicer view, so we chose that one instead. Everybody was nice, and the place was tidy.

We've been pretty happy with them. Any issues we’ve had were sorted out. They offer games, trivia, hair and nail services, and exercise. The food is tasty.
