"Attentive Staff and Accommodating Care Make Atria Grass Valley Recommendable"

Atria Grass Valley is great because the staff really pays attention to the residents' needs. From what we've seen, we think other families would like it here too.

"Great care, happy mom, grateful family"

After taking care of my mom for so long, I was worried about putting her into an assisted living facility. Her Alzheimer’s got too hard for us to handle, but letting someone else take care of her was scary. She has been there for four months and is actually happy! The staff has been wonderful, especially during Covid. Her medicine and diabetes care have been great. She has even made a few friends while the facility was on lockdown! We couldn’t be happier with her care. Thank you to the hard-working staff for taking such great care of my mom. My family appreciates you!

"Great staff and food, but not right for my mom."

I visited this place, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions. The place was lovely, and the lunch was very good. It just wasn't right for my mom's needs. I suggest touring before deciding.

"Wonderful place for seniors!"

We are so happy with Atria. My in-laws are joining lots of activities like yoga and Bible study! Everyone there is super nice and welcoming. My in-laws say the food is great, and I like that they are eating balanced meals. We have no complaints!

"Great community, friendly staff, and plenty of activities."

I really like this community I moved into. The staff is always kind and friendly. It's great to see how much they care about keeping the place looking good inside and out. They offer a variety of meals, and there are fun activities to join with other residents. I’d recommend this community to other families because it’s a great place to live at a good value.

"Great care and value, friendly staff, clean community."

We really like the care here. The staff are friendly and caring. The community is clean, and he enjoys the healthy meals. He is offered activities but hasn’t joined in yet. Overall, we are pleased with the care and value, and other families might find it a good choice too.

"Nice Visit!"

I had a good time touring this place. It was super clean and looked after well. The staff who guided us were friendly and knew a lot about their place. But, sadly, it didn’t match our budget, so we chose another place that suited us financially.

"Great staff and fun Fridays with music!"

The staff at Atria Grass Valley got to know my dad fast and they get along great with him and our family. He enjoys the local musicians who play on Fridays. The place is very clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this community.”

"Mom Thrives at Atria Grass Valley!"

My mom is doing well at Atria Grass Valley. She had a fall, but I'm happy Atria's staff took better care of her during her recovery. Atria is a cozy place with yummy food. They keep my mom busy and she enjoys the outings. I wanted her to join in activities and make friends, which is good for her. She loves doing yoga and was getting stronger before her fall. Things are going well for now.

"Great Place, Beware Room Size Info"

Great place. Our only issue is the upfront talks about room sizes and costs. The information given on this isn’t complete, either written or verbally. It turns out there are three sizes of studio rooms with three different costs. We were only told about one price. We thought mom's queen-size bed would fit easily, but it didn't work well with the wheelchair. The room was much smaller than the three we saw before moving in. Then we found out that to get a larger studio, the cost would go up a lot. Otherwise, this facility is wonderful. If room size doesn’t matter to you, the higher cost of Atria is worth it.

"Dad's settling in and staff are super helpful!"

It's only been a week, but I'm really happy so far. Since moving can be confusing, the staff checks on my dad every few hours and helps him get to meals and activities. He seems to be settling in nicely.

"Good Communication"

"They've been really good at keeping me informed, which is great. My loved one hasn't been there long, so I'm not sure what could be better yet. Overall, it seems like a nice place."

"Beautiful Facility with Friendly Staff; Lunch Needs Improvement"

When you walk in, it’s really beautiful. The furniture looks great and makes you feel like you’re in a hotel. The carpeting and dining room are very nice. The director is super friendly and kind. The rooms are nice and well-kept. We did bring my mom in to try lunch, and that’s the only thing that wasn’t perfect.

"Feels like a cozy lodge, caring staff, good activities"

The people here are so nice, helpful, and caring. The place is clean, cheerful, and feels like a cozy mountain lodge. They offer fun daily activities and provide transportation for shopping. There’s also great live music, and the meals are nutritious with plenty of choices. The only downside is that the food could be tastier, with more fresh salads. It’s a bit pricier than I expected, and I’d like more encouragement to join activities.

"Outstanding care and attention; very responsive and clean."

We were really impressed with how clean everything is and the care given all day. They pay close attention to medication, though injections are done by the doctor. They always keep track of who eats at meals, and make sure everyone gets fed. The menu changes often, but it’s hard to make everyone happy all the time. Atria really cares about my parents and their well-being. They handle any issues quickly, both with my parents and with me. The care here is the best.

"Thanks to Atria’s amazing staff for their care!"

My mom has dementia and has been living at Atria (formerly Quail Ridge) for two years. We chose Atria because of its great quality, warm atmosphere, and caring staff, plus the option for her to move to Memory Care when needed. Moving my mom was incredibly tough, but choosing Atria was the best decision for both of us. From the start, the staff has been amazing—so warm, kind, and capable. Atria really values respect, dignity, quality, professionalism, and fun, and the staff shows real commitment. Everyone here treats my mom like a special person, not just another resident. They know her favorite things, where she is at all times, and always make time to check in with me. Whenever I have questions or concerns, they are taken seriously, and I feel involved in my mom's care. The team works well together and really cares about each resident's needs. It's not just a few great people; everyone contributes to the caring environment. The staff goes above and beyond, making it feel like family. Over these two years, I have shared laughs and tears with the staff at Atria, and I always feel supported. While nothing is perfect, Atria is always working to improve and make experiences better. They are flexible and responsive, which gives me peace of mind knowing my mom is safe, well cared for, and as happy as possible.

"Thanks Atria for Your Care and Compassion!"

My mom lived at Atria (formerly Quail Ridge) for almost 3 years. She was on hospice care and the Atria staff took amazing care of her during her last 7 months. We couldn’t have asked for better. The first two years were wonderful, with great food, weekly entertainment, and a really caring staff. For her 100th birthday, they threw a big party with entertainment. Even when she got sick and had to stay in bed, the caregivers treated her like family. They were also very supportive of me and helped however they could. We will always remember how they cared for her in those final months, letting her stay in her familiar surroundings rather than moving to a nursing home. We’re forever thankful to the Atria staff for their care and kindness.

"Grateful for the Wonderful Care at Atria"

From the moment we arrived at Atria, I knew we had found the perfect place for my father-in-law! It’s such a warm and friendly place. The apartments are lovely, and the food is both delicious and plentiful. There are so many activities, even for people who aren’t very active. What stands out the most is the staff. They are the kindest, most caring, and understanding people we could ever hope for. My father-in-law has early Alzheimer’s and sometimes needs extra care and patience. The staff at Atria is always there when needed. Thank you, Atria, and all your staff, for making Dad’s stay such a great experience!

"Atria is a wonderful, loving place for my mom"

Atria has been a wonderful, loving, and friendly place for my mom. The community is clean and beautiful, and her studio apartment has everything she needs. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. My mom has dementia, and I was really impressed that you can't tell the difference between the assisted living and memory care areas. Both are warm and caring.
