"Mixed Experience with Atria Las Posas Assisted Living"
Atria Las Posas is a great place for those who can afford increasing care needs and for independent, social seniors. Each person’s experience is different. Unfortunately, our mom’s health declined a lot after moving there, which might have been due to the difficulties of adjusting and her dementia getting worse. This could have happened at any new place. Atria supported us through these challenges with our mom. However, it ended up being too expensive once she needed constant care.

I visited Atria Las Posas for a tour, but it felt quite dull. They didn’t give me clear information about the costs.

"Friendly Staff and Smooth Transition"
This is a great place for your loved one. The staff are friendly, and they've made the move easy for my loved one. The staff are amazing! Some activities have been limited because of the pandemic. I wish they had better walking areas, especially for my loved one who likes to walk outside. The tram isn't available for store runs. However, the community is open to new ideas for activities.

"Well-run, with good meals and capable staff."
Overall, the community has handled the pandemic well. It seems like a very well-run place. The meals are good, and the staff seems to know what they’re doing. This is a new community. I would recommend this community for your loved one.

"Elderly friend happier at Atria, friendly staff, diverse activities."
My friend, who's 84, has gotten a lot better since moving to Atria. She's happier than she's been in ages. The people who work there are really nice, polite, and know what they're doing. And they have activities for everyone to enjoy.

"Amazing care and results at Atria Las Posas"
Atria Las Posas has been wonderful for my loved one. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. The care here is very personal, and the staff are patient, attentive, caring, and genuine with the residents. The director did an assessment and placed my loved one right away. She’s been getting physical therapy and hasn’t walked this well in months. Her confidence is up, and she fully trusts the staff for her care. I couldn’t ask for better results. From the start, I knew Atria was the right place, and I can’t imagine a better community.

"Dad's happy and making friends, but needs more laundry help"
They are giving my dad great care and a nice place to live. There are lots of men and people for him to meet and interact with. They have a lovely patio and courtyard. I really like that they assigned an ambassador to help my dad join activities and make a friend. The only issue is that I wish the staff would help him more with his laundry. He forgets to put it out and needs more reminders.

"Unprofessional Behavior from Assisted Living Marketing Staff"
This critique is regarding the marketing representative from the assisted living facility whose name isn't mentioned here. I contacted her seeking basic info like the number of residents and how many spots were filled. However, she was completely impolite and would not disclose their memory care availability, as though it's some sort of hidden secret. The way she spoke and the things she said were totally unprofessional. If their salesperson can be this impolite, I wonder about the quality of their caretakers. When I requested to speak with the supervisor, she did not connect me. I reached out to several other facilities with the same question, but only she raised suspicions and did not assist.

"Atria Assisted Living Falls Short on Oxygen Needs and Refund"
My husband already paid, but Atria couldn't help my mother-in-law's oxygen. They kept the fee when we chose elsewhere. It's okay if you don't need much help, but if you do, look elsewhere.

"Poor Care at High Costs at Atria Las Posas!"
I'm thoroughly disappointed with Atria Las Posas. My mom has been living there for nearly two years and sadly, the level of care and respect has really plummeted. Visiting her today, I was appalled finding her clothes reeking of urine. It was clear her sheets hadn't been washed in two weeks! Her cotton bedspread was also dirty. Adding insult to injury, they've decided to increase the prices, demanding she escalates to a Level 3 care plan close to $6,000 per month. My mom is still lucid and she can walk around by herself. I'm seriously considering relocating her!

"Feels Like a Fancy Hotel!"
The staff here are really friendly and always seem to be in a good mood. I just wish they were a bit more proactive about helping my dad get around. The food is awesome, and they have daily activities and even a happy hour. This place is pretty new and a little pricier, but I think you definitely get what you pay for. My dad likes that many of the other residents share his interests. It doesn't feel like a typical nursing home, and I'd recommend it.

"Great Food, Nice Community, But Expensive"

"Engage and Enjoy!"
The place is really nice and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful with my family member. However, they don't encourage my loved one to participate; they simply follow their instructions. On the bright side, the meals are tasty and served in good portions. Plus, the community is always kept clean.

"Atria's Memory Care: A Calm and Welcoming Community"
My mom moved into Atria's Memory Care last week. I liked their program when I first visited. They have a nice place with Assisted Living and Memory Care sections. Mom has dementia and is in the Memory Care area with only 17 residents. Everyone has been friendly and helpful during her move. She was in another place for 5 years, so it'll take her a bit to adjust to Atria's routines. It's quieter here compared to her old place, which had more residents and could get noisy. The caregivers here seem more attentive. Mom hasn't tried all the activities yet, but we're excited about their music program. They have music and dancing activities every day, not just once or twice a week. After one week, we're happy with our decision to move to Atria.

This place costs a lot, but it’s totally worth it. They take great care of my mother-in-law, and we feel she’s safe here. The community is clean, her room looks nice, and the staff is good. She’s trying out the activities and enjoying the food. We recommend it.

"Atria Staff Make Families Feel Welcome"
The people at Atria Las Posas were really nice when my dad and I went there to check it out. We needed a place for my mom fast because she was leaving the hospital soon. During the tour, everyone was friendly and kind. They even knew the residents' names, which was nice. I felt good about leaving my mom there because I could tell the caregivers like what they do. Even though I live far away, I'm happy knowing my mom is safe and well cared for.

"Best Assisted Living with Outstanding Support and Care"
I want to thank Ed from A Place for Mom and the amazing staff at Atria Las Posas, including Jane, Angela, Colleen, the dining team (who reads the menu to Mom), and Jeri the bus driver. Without their help, this review wouldn't be possible. We had to quickly move our 85-year-old mom due to unexpected reasons. We told Ed our budget, and he got to work right away. He arranged tours of suitable places and kept us updated. Atria Las Posas, with its great staff and well-furnished studio, was perfect for Mom. The stress of moving vanished. Even though Mom has early onset dementia and advanced macular degeneration, she's doing great and getting the best care. She's always busy with activities and is much happier now. Our family is very grateful to A Place for Mom and Atria Las Posas for their support and care.

"Good but Pricey"
Atria Las Posas is a well-kept place. It’s super clean, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. But there’s one thing that bugs me: when I asked for a low-sodium diet for my mom, they said they needed a doctor’s order. That seems strange. Also, it’s really expensive!

"Underwhelmed by facility's care for mom's conditions"
To start off, my mom has high blood pressure and this facility doesn't seem to manage that quite well. They also seem to struggle with handling her dementia. There have been multiple instances where they haven't held up their end of the deal and things haven't gone as smoothly as expected. The people who give out the medicines aren't even licensed nurses. I've been generally let down with this place.

"Great Value, Bright Atmosphere, Highly Recommend Atria!"
My partner lives at Atria, and it's really great. I think it's a good value and I highly recommend it. The place is clean, bright, and the staff is friendly. The food is delicious, and everything feels upbeat. We were on a waiting list at another facility, but Atria seemed better because it’s bigger, cheerier, and the food was tastier.

"Lovely Place but Too Pricey!"
This place is pretty, but it costs a lot. I don't like how it feels like you're buying a car, where the price can change anytime based on what the company wants to do to make money for its owners. Deanna was nice, but after talking with Josh, I don't think this community is right for us.

We picked this place after checking out three others. Atria was the cleanest and most organized. The rooms are really nice and spacious. The staff is amazing and really makes a difference. We're very happy with our decision.

"Convenient, Clean Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Abundant Amenities"
This place is pretty close to the valley and super clean. The staff is really nice. We met with the director, who was also very friendly. Laundry is included, but residents generally do their own except for some assistance with sheets. There are lots of activities to keep busy with all day. Each unit has its own patio or deck, and there's a nice courtyard too. The meals are good, with daily specials and regular menu items available. Snacks are available all day, and there's flexible dining times. They've got grab bars everywhere in the halls and bathrooms for safety. The care package for residents is all-inclusive, starting at $4995 for a studio. Depending on the level of care needed, additional items can be added to the package at different prices. They evaluate each resident individually and are willing to negotiate prices. For those needing less care, the starting prices are $3295 and $3495.
