"Emergency Desk Shortage"

The staff is friendly, but they mistakenly thought the front desk was always staffed. Paramedics had to break into an apartment due to the absence of desk personnel.

"Clean and Welcoming Environment with Room for Dietary Improvement"

This place is nice and clean. My mom says the food isn't good, especially the lack of protein options. It needs more balance and healthy choices, especially for special diets. They do communicate well with families. Lots of activities and transport options. They clean the place once a week and do a good job. I would tell my family and friends about this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short of Expectations"

My experience was alright until I paid for my mom's unit. Three days before moving in, they said no to my mom because of old, wrong info from a doctor. Instead of talking with us or my mom, they said she couldn't come and left us in a mess. It took many calls to get my refund. I know not every place suits everyone, but in a tough time like this, they could've been nicer and handled it better.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

The people there were really nice when we were signing papers, but things got worse later. If you need extra help, they charge a lot of money. My mom was supposed to get help with meals twice a day, but she had to fix her own breakfast. When they had to stay inside for three weeks because of quarantine, they still charged her for the help, even though she couldn't go to the dining area. I argued with them about this, and they eventually gave her some money back for those weeks. I don't think they did that for anyone else. It takes a long time for the maintenance workers to fix things. My mom was supposed to get free TV, but they charged her for it. It took a while for me to fix that problem. She was only there for a short time when she fell and hurt herself. I moved her to a different place where she's much happier. While she was in the hospital and rehab, no one from the facility called to check on her, which made me upset. They seem to care more about money than about the residents' well-being. I feel sorry for the people who don't have family to look out for them.
