"Care Declined, Costs Rose, Family Disappointed"
We’re really not happy with this place. Our mom lived here for two years. At first, when she could do things on her own, everything seemed okay at Atria. But then, we found out she wasn’t getting the special diet for her sugar she needed, which led to two scary visits to the hospital because her sugar went way too high. We asked the staff if she seemed different or if she was forgetting things, and they told us she was just fine. But that wasn’t true. She began to stay in her pajamas, stayed in her room all day, and only wanted to drink milkshakes. The folks at Atria didn’t let us know about any of these changes. It was clear she needed more help, but nobody took care of it. When we told them we were moving her out in 30 days, they suddenly said she needed more expensive care and tried to bill us for those costly services even after she left. We’re really let down by all this.

"Atria Walnut Creek: Great for Mom!"
My mom lives at Atria Walnut Creek, and she’s pretty happy there. The place is clean, staff are friendly, and the care is good. Meals are okay, and they have great activities for residents. I’d recommend it to family and friends.

"Great Assisted Living Choice!"
My dad lives at Atria Walnut Creek, and I really like it. Even though there's some news about Atria and an ongoing license review, I'm still impressed. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

"Disappointing Experience at Atria Walnut Creek"
My family member lived at Atria Walnut Creek, and I visited regularly. I've noticed some changes. The workers are friendly, which is good. But the food is really bad now, and the costs have gone up a ton. The place is pretty clean, though. The surroundings are nice. The rooms and big lounge area are comfy.

"Hats off to the Engage Life Team!"
The Engage Life team now is the best I’ve seen in almost five years as a resident. The E.L. Director and Instructors genuinely care, and it’s evident. On Memorial Day, they showed a moving film, followed by an E.L. Instructor guiding us through a photo gallery of our U.S. Veterans. She read a heartfelt piece in their honor. This year’s tribute was the best yet, even surpassing some years when this special holiday went unnoticed. Last week, the E.L. team organized a warm gathering to remember two beloved pets who recently passed away. They screened a true-story film, and the Director began with a meaningful prayer for the animals. The team went above and beyond, serving refreshments throughout. Kudos to this hard-working crew!

This place was nice. We wanted a two-bedroom but they didn't have any left when we needed it.

"Clean Community with Small Apartments"
Our family visited in person, but the location was too far and the studio apartments were small. However, the community was very clean, and the tour was pleasant. .
