"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Service"
My mom has been living here for quite a few years, and honestly, the service she gets is just okay. We pay a lot for her to stay, so it’s fair to expect better. Moving her would stress out our elderly mother, and honestly, all these places seem pretty similar. The front desk staff is helpful, but the care staff is just average. And don’t get me started on senior management – they’ve got a long way to go.

"Great place, like a luxury hotel, very attentive care"
This community does a great job. They’re very proactive and handle problems quickly. They take complaints seriously, too. My husband really likes it here and says it feels like a luxury hotel. I'm happy because he's happy, he’s well taken care of, and I don’t have to worry about him.

The folks here are really nice, both the residents and the staff. I like the food a lot, especially the baked potato with butter.

"Expensive but flexible senior living with memory care option available."
The Atria Woodbridge doesn't have memory care services, but Atria Golden Creek does. This means seniors can be transferred between the two facilities as necessary. It appears to be pricier compared to other options I've explored.

"Monthly Fun and Comfy Living"
My family member loves it here. She's so happy that it's near the things she likes. Plus, it has a nice dining room and the food is yummy too! They always have lots of fun stuff planned - something's happening every day and you can join in whatever you want to. The people working there are great and easy to talk to. I'd tell anyone looking for a place like this to check it out.

"Staff Could Be Better, But Food and Cleanliness Are Good"
The main concern we have with this community is that the caregivers don't provide the best service. They are slow to respond and don't seem kind. The food is good and they keep the community clean. They offer daily activities.

"Good tour, but the place felt too cold and unwelcoming"
My tour guide showed up on time and gave me a good look around the community. The place seemed okay, but I didn’t get a cozy vibe from it. It just felt a bit cold, so I decided to look elsewhere.

"Pretty Good Place, But Needs Some Improvements"
I have my mom living here. They do a good job, but like many places, they promise things that take a long time to happen. It would help if they reminded the residents about programs, activities, tours, and events more often. Older people forget and need reminders. The food is good. The staff could spend a bit more time with new and difficult tenants. There are pros and cons with most senior living places. Atria would score higher if they paid a little more attention to the needs of the tenants.

"Atria Woodbridge Review: Great Care, Friendly Staff, and Wonderful Amenities"
After checking out ten different assisted living places, we found that Atria Woodbridge was perfect for our mother’s needs. She’s been there for a month now, and we’re really happy with the care and kindness she’s receiving. Even though she’s faced some health issues and the adjustment has been tough, the staff has been very helpful. They’re always ready to assist with her needs, the food is great with lots of choices, and there are daily activities, music, and outings. The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. Plus, I’m always greeted with a smile when I visit! We’re really pleased with our choice.

"Lacking Callbacks: Nice Atmosphere, Concerns on Care Level"
I really liked the place and the people there, both the workers and the folks living there. But I’m worried that my mom might need more care than they can provide soon. Even though the person who talked to me about signing up said they’d call me back about some things, I never got a call.

"Lovely Place with Few Staff"
This place is in a good spot. It looks nice, with pretty surroundings, and it stays tidy. The people who work here are friendly and seem to genuinely care. There are lots of residents, but I'm not sure why they don't have more staff.

"From Great Assisted Living to Just Nursing Home Status"
My mom was at Atria Woodbridge for years, but we recently moved her to another place. At first, Atria was a good place where people could live on their own. But things have changed; maybe it's because the economy isn't doing well. They're now taking in people with Alzheimer's who need 24/7 care. The standard of care and the staff isn't as good as it used to be. Instead of being a place for independent living, it feels more like a nursing home. Staff members are always leaving, even the leaders. The care team includes waitstaff and kitchen workers who don't know how to take care of people. There aren't many activities, and the ones they do have are more like kids' parties. We're talking about adults, not toddlers. The services have gotten worse. Because they're taking care of more people who need constant attention, the ones who can take care of themselves are getting worse service. They have to wait longer for help. The dining room feels like a school cafeteria and the food isn't anything special. It's clear that the people in charge at Atria don't really care about the people who live there. It's a shame because this place could be one of the best in Southern California. Instead, it feels more like a nursing home. My mom moved to a place that's a bit further away, but she's really happy there. The staff actually interacts with the residents and their families.

"Excellent care and friendly staff at Atria Assisted Living"
My father is really doing well at Atria. After losing his wife and having a fall that led to nearly three months in rehab, he wasn’t in great shape when he got there. But now he’s gaining weight and making friends. Most of the other residents are sharp and nice, and he enjoys talking with them. The place itself is great. There are lots of public areas, including a library with an aquarium. The dining room is big and bright, and the staff is very helpful. One of the best things is there are no set meal times, which he really likes. His room has a big window that overlooks a nice grassy area with trees. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They respond quickly when he calls and keep me updated on any issues since I live in another city. The only problem has been arranging transportation to medical appointments, which needs to be done two weeks ahead of time. This works fine for regular appointments, but they did manage to get him a ride to the emergency room on short notice when needed. He’s not into the activities they offer he’s never been one to join in but I see that other residents seem to enjoy them when I visit.

"Incredibly Friendly Staff at Atria Woodbridge"
The Atria Woodbridge place is super clean and looks really nice. The staff is super friendly too. But there are a couple of things they could do better. First, when someone new arrives, they should explain how things work. My mom took a while to figure out what to do. Second, the food is a bit tough for older folks. They complain that the veggies are too hard and sometimes the food isn't hot enough. Also, they're trying to get fancy with the meals, but I think simple classics would be better. Overall, we're really happy with Atria Woodbridge, especially because everyone is so friendly.

"Staffing Needs Improvement for Better Care"
This place is like living on your own but with some help. When we could do things ourselves, I’d say it was pretty good, like a four out of five. But when we needed extra help, it felt more like a three. It looked like they needed more people working there to help someone who couldn’t control their bathroom needs. There were also quite a few young workers, and they seemed to struggle with helping him move around.

"Great Facility with Friendly Staff Worth a Visit"
We visited this community while exploring care options for our loved one. This was the second Atria facility we checked out, and both were great! The place looks nice, is very clean, and well-maintained. The staff were all friendly and professional. Definitely check them out if you're considering care options!

"Neglect in Care at Atria: A Cautionary Tale"
My mother-in-law lived peacefully for 4 years at this facility, enjoying her friends and activities. Problems arose once her health worsened and she required level 3 care in December 2013. Sadly, the care promised fell short. With four falls in one week and a severe one on December 18th, I chose to move her into a better-care residential facility. My numerous questions are left unanswered, forcing me to reach out to the State of California's social services licensing department about her care issues. Due to the ill-managed care and unannounced change in her capacity to be serviced by their staff (which they claim they did notify me about), she’s now bedridden resulting from her last fall. I'm still seeking the truth, doubtful if I'll ever receive it from Atria.

"Wonderful Independent Living Facility with Great Staff and Services"
The staff at Atria made it really easy for my dad to move into their lovely independent living facility. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. My dad is doing great and really likes his new home. My family and I couldn't have asked for anything better. We chose the deluxe studio for him, and it's very comfy and has everything he needs. The food is fantastic with lots of choices. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, making it a nice place to walk or just relax. We're very pleased with all the services so far. Great job, Atria! A Place for Mom also helped us a lot and made finding the right place easy. I highly recommend their service.

"Great Place with Professional Staff but Lacked Memory Care"
The staff was very professional, and the place was really nice. It was quiet and a bit upscale. We liked it, but unfortunately, it didn't have memory care services. My dad had friends nearby in Laguna Woods, so we ended up choosing a place that was more convenient for him. Atria had just been renovated and looked great. However, it was a bit more expensive than some other places. It was peaceful, but since my dad is very social, we decided on a different location that better suited his need for interaction, as well as the care provided and its location.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living with Great Activities"
My sister lives here, not me. But I see lots of good stuff happening for the money. She's not joining in much, though. They offer fun things like movies and bingo and even trips out. It's a solid program. I'd suggest it. The people there are friendly and helpful to us.
