"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

My family member stayed here briefly. We chose this place because of the good care and its small size. However, there wasn't enough privacy in the dining area, and respect was lacking.

"Perfect Choice for Safe and Caring Assisted Living"

We checked out several places before choosing this one. The others felt too much like a hospital, so we thought a smaller, more personal place would be better. She’s doing great here, and it’s close enough for her husband to visit and take her home sometimes. The food is excellent, and the staff is super friendly and caring. We’re really happy knowing she’s in a safe place and getting good care.

"The Right Fit"

Mona McCallister made a tough decision so much easier. She took time to understand my mother and her needs. She listened to my worries and helped make the transition smooth. At Aunt Mona's, residents enjoy various activities, and family members are encouraged to visit often. Visiting hours are flexible, making it easy for families to spend time with their loved ones. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's less than six months ago. I tried to care for her with part-time help from an agency, family, and friends, but it wasn’t working. She was sleeping all day and awake at night, eating unhealthy things, refusing her medication, and showing anger and sadness. Since moving to Aunt Mona's, I’ve seen a huge change in her behavior. She now gets three balanced meals and snacks every day. Diet is very important since she is diabetic. Being around other people has improved her mood; she even shared her Valentine candy with the other ladies, seeing them as friends. I feel we’ve found the right place for my mother, and together we can face any challenge.

"VERY Organized!"

This is a private home, and we almost chose it. The rooms were tiny, just 8x8. However, the woman in charge was amazing! She showed me all the binders to track everything, and all the medicines were safely stored and locked up. The home was very clean, and she was very thorough. She has a very organized personality, which is great for this kind of place.

"I Liked This Group Home. Dire..."

I liked this group home a lot. The director was really helpful. While my mom might need more socialization than she can get here, we'd still think about it for the future.
