"Convenient but Lacking Warmth"
Our family visited in person, but the location wasn’t very convenient. The atmosphere lacked warmth and friendliness.

"Spacious Rooms Needed for Better Care at Belmont Assisted Living"
My husband has Parkinson's and struggles with falling, mobility, and incontinence. Belmont has nice amenities, and I hoped to support him while keeping him company. After 5 months, we realized we needed more space. There are positives, like the PALS (mostly), cleaning services, and entertainment options, but it's challenging to find time or proper care. A larger apartment could help manage our business, which I run from home. However, accommodating varied needs for two people is difficult.

"Neglect and Inattentiveness at Elderly Care Facility"
This place feels like a forgotten closet for old folks. The workers here don't pay attention and are careless. The person in charge of "health and wellness" couldn't even tell us where the closest emergency room was. My family member's restroom was a mess and nobody noticed for two whole days, even though he was having to go to the toilet in the hallway in his underwear. When the pandemic arrived, they didn't clean his place for several weeks. We didn't even know how dirty it was until our personal caregiver was finally let in. Was my dad in danger at this place? Maybe not right away. But were they doing a good job taking care of him? Absolutely not.

"Mixed Reviews for University-Linked Assisted Living Facility"
This assisted living facility is connected to a university, so they provide more lectures by professors. The food was okay, with a good variety available. However, the community lacked colorful design, and the amenities were just average, not fantastic. Overall, I would suggest others consider checking out this community.

"Belmont Village: Shoddy Care Hidden Behind Pretty Exteriors"
Don't let the nice looks trick you. True, Belmont Village has a pretty exterior but believe me, the care is below average. I've experienced it personally, there was a time when they didn't clean the rooms enough. Later I learned a lot of the cleaning team and even some leaders quit. It's not worth the cash you're spending.

"Tour and Cost Discussion, Awaiting Acceptance Decision"
We met with a staff member for a tour and talked about cost. It's a nice place, but they need to consult with their head nurse to see if our loved one, who needs a lot of care, can be accommodated there. We're not sure if he'd feel okay about living there. We plan on discussing it with him on Monday, depending on whether they accept him or not.

"Top-notch care and activities!"
My family and I have been to other places, but this one is special. I never see anyone sitting alone or ignored. The staff is awesome, and when I visit, the nurses come right up to me and tell me everything that's happening. They notice little things, like when my mom needed more pajamas. They call me about any small thing. For activities, they go to the movies, have music shows, do art projects, and keep the mind active. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Great Place for Mom"
This place is really nice and looks beautiful inside. The people who work here are friendly and helpful, although they seem a bit young. They come every week to clean and change the sheets. The food is delicious and there are lots of different choices, always including vegetables with fish or meat. My mom loves all the activities, like Tai Chi and movie nights. They also do exercises and have a gym. There's a nice path for walking laps and some indoor courtyards that are safe. I think this is a good place for people to live.

"Feels like a luxurious vacation spot for Dad"
When I started looking for a place for my dad, I talked to the staff at A Place for Mom. He was great, like a counselor, not a salesperson. He showed me a few places, including Belmont. Belmont was better than I expected. It costs more than other places, but it's worth it. The staff answered all my questions, were friendly, and did everything they could for my dad. The facility is brand new, spotless, and felt like a high-end hotel or a new cruise ship. My dad needed a place that felt like a vacation, and this was perfect. I highly recommend this place.
