"Location Concerns for Loved Ones"

"Expensive Price Deters Interest"

Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and overall, the tour was satisfactory. We appreciated everything we saw, especially since it was the first community we explored. The location seemed favorable, but unfortunately, the price was too high for our budget.

"Nice place, but traffic and homeless issues"

The place is nice, but there are a lot of homeless people nearby. The location is hard to get to by road. It's right by the entrance to the Hollywood Bowl, so there are huge traffic jams at certain times of the day.

"Great Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Plenty to Do"

Even though this place is on Highland Blvd and can be a little noisy, it’s a really nice spot. The one-bedroom apartments are spacious, and the staff is really friendly. The food options look great, and there are lots of common areas and activities to keep everyone busy and out of their rooms.

"Welcoming Atmosphere!"

During my tour of Belmont Village Hollywood, the guide was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Although it was a good experience, we had another community in mind that better suited our needs.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

We don't have big problems, but talking to them has been a bit hard. It feels less cozy than our previous place because it's more like a hospital. But overall, it's okay.

"Higher Level of Care Feels More Institutional"

We haven't had any big problems, but the communication could be better. This place feels less homey than where we were before. Since it offers more care, it feels more like an institution. Overall though, I think it's good.

"In Need of Updates!"

The Belmont Village felt like a friendly community, and the staff made us feel welcome. However, we weren't pleased with how worn down the place appeared. It could definitely use some updates.

"Nice, but too far for our needs"

I liked this community, but it was farther away than another one we liked. It’s a good place and we had a great tour. It’s very nice, but the distance would have made traffic really bad if we had chosen it.

"Nice staff, unclear menu. Recommend touring for families considering care."

I visited this place to check out how they take care of people. The people who work there were friendly and they helped me understand how they look after the residents. But I couldn't really figure out what kind of food they serve unless I actually had a meal there. I think other families should come and see this place too.

"Mom loves this place! Great staff, food, and activities."

We really love this community! Mom is meeting new friends, and the staff is helpful with great communication. The food is tasty and healthy. There are lots of fun daily activities. I definitely recommend this community!

"Amazing Support and Care at Belmont Village Hollywood"

The team at Belmont Village Hollywood went out of their way to help me get my loved one settled in. They made a tough transition much easier for them. Even though my loved one has only been there for 4 days, I can't say enough good things about Belmont Village Hollywood. I would definitely recommend it. The Hollywood location wasn't perfect for me, but the great programs and caring staff make the drive worthwhile.

"Belmont Village Peaceful and Engaging for Families"

I’m really happy with Belmont. My husband is content and not feeling down, and he’s fine with not seeing me every day. This lets me catch up on housework and get my life back in order. The Programs Coordinator for people with dementia/Alzheimer's puts a lot of effort into activities and keeping everyone engaged. My stress has gone way down!

"Wonderful Care and Great Food at Belmont Village Hollywood"

The Belmont Village Hollywood is amazing. The staff is respectful and takes great care of everyone. Our family member has Alzheimer's, and even on his tough days, the staff treats him with kindness, love, and respect. As for the food: It’s fantastic. They serve meals like a restaurant, with staff taking orders and serving food just like you’d expect at a dining out place. Belmont Village of Hollywood truly feels like home.

"Very happy with Belmont Village Hollywood!"

We are very pleased with Belmont Village Hollywood. It’s a much better place for my aunt than her old one. The staff really get her involved and seem to care more. There’s more happening here, and they communicate well. Overall, everything is going great.

We are really happy with Belmont Village Hollywood. Everyone here is super friendly. It costs a lot, but the care is top-notch. There are always fun activities going on. One resident even said it feels like being on a cruise ship. The staff take amazing care of everyone. This is the best place I've ever been to.

"Couldn’t Be Happier with Care and Environment"

The facility provides a great environment for residents. It’s very clean, and while nothing is perfect, I'm very happy with my mother's care. She feels comfortable and at ease here. They offer a wide range of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff is nice, smart, and well-qualified. The atmosphere is very positive, focusing on the good and keeping everyone hopeful. It’s a thoughtful plan for older people. If you can afford it, it's a wonderful and creative place!

"Perfect place to call home with friendly staff and activities"

I've had a fantastic experience at Belmont Village Hollywood. Everyone here is super friendly, and it feels just like home without anyone constantly watching me. I've made some great friends and there are lots of fun activities to join. The location is ideal, and there are many benefits to living here with only a few minor downsides.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living with Social Focus"

This place is really nice and fancy. It costs a lot, about $8,500 every month for my Aunt's place. They have a lot of fun things to do. The people who work here are super nice and really care. There's a special group for people with not too bad memory problems called the "circle of friends." The person in charge of fun stuff, the nurses, and the helpers are all awesome. It seems like it's easier for people who like to chat a lot and aren't shy to feel at home here.

"Fun, fancy atmosphere with helpful staff; needs website updates"

The place had a fun and lively atmosphere that felt like a fancy hotel, which would be easier to sell to FIL. Jamie was super helpful. We really liked it and it's very close to our home. We're not sure if we can fit it into our budget. Just a tip update the website’s events page. We were going to join an event but saw the date was from 2011, so it hasn’t been updated in 3 years.

"Perfect for Mom's Personality"

Had some time on Sunday and visited Belmont. It’s a great fit for my mom’s personality. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and there’s lots of food choices. They encourage family to visit and even stay overnight. There’s a ton of activities to choose from, and they offer physical therapy as well. We really love the Circle of Friends program!

"No Place to Take Walks"

It's really small! My dad likes to walk, but they won't take him on walks here. There's a garden across the street, but it's dangerous. Not good for someone who might fall. Only one resident walks there, but it's not safe for my dad. Belmont Village is on a hilly spot near the Hollywood Bowl and a busy street. Not a good choice for my father."

"Outstanding Care and Activities for Loved Ones!"

They are so friendly!! It’s really pricey, but it’s been great for my aunt. She’s doing amazingly well. At home, she was really isolated, didn’t want to dress up, and didn’t care about her appearance. Now she’s out in the community all day and only in her room at night. It’s like a dream come true. She’s picky with food, but it’s still good. She’s in the dementia unit, and when she moved in, I told them she was a florist. They got a bunch of vases and even had a flower arranging class for her. There are community outings to places like the art museum and shopping trips. They’ll even drive her to visit her sister. They’re very accommodating. It’s the best experience.

Nice community with a $2,950 deposit and $2,950 a month for independent living. They have happy hours and other fun activities. It’s a nice place, and there’s free parking too.

"Smooth Transition and Great Care"

Belmont Village of Hollywood has exceeded all my expectations. I spent months searching for the perfect place for my 87-year-old friend, and Belmont has been amazing. She’s been living there for 2 months now, and I couldn’t be happier with the staff, the facilities, and her new home. She’s really enjoying it. The staff made her move-in and adjustment super easy, and she felt welcome right away, even making new friends. Belmont Village Hollywood is an excellent place to live. The dining room and menu are top-notch, and there are lots of activities every day.

"Positive aspects shine through, despite cleanliness and outdoor issues."

The price is similar to that of St. John's dementia unit. The staff here is very experienced and dedicated. The furniture and rooms feel like home, and the artwork on the walls is wonderful. Their 'circle of friends' program is excellent. The rooms are nice with enjoyable patios. They really value each resident's uniqueness. It's also conveniently located near a church. Negative: Almost all the rooms have trash and there are unpleasant odors. There are no gardens, and the only outdoor space are the patios.
