"Assisted Living Center Fails in Medication and Staffing, Non-Recommended"
This assisted living center is seriously struggling with giving out medicines. I have buddies living there and they tell me that: - Several times they've run out of certain medications and the residents can't get their regular medicines. - There have been many instances when no nurses are available, so nothing is really taken care of. - There have been cases where nurses have mistakenly given out the wrong medicines. - The healthcare team is not particularly welcoming or friendly. The state definitely needs to intervene and close this place until they really fix these issues. We definitely wouldn't recommend this place. It seems like most of the employees have left. I wonder what could have caused that?

"Staff is great, but common areas need better cleaning."
They are short on staff right now, so sometimes her meals are cold and she has to send them back. It also seems like they’re not cleaning as thoroughly because of the staffing issue. They do keep my loved one’s room clean, but the common areas aren’t as well-kept. The staff are great and really good. My loved one loves chair yoga and water aerobics—she really enjoys these activities.

"Headline:Disappointing Care at Belmont Village Sabre Springs, Not Recommended"
Belmont Village Sabre Springs didn't live up to their promise for quality care. They enticed us with great words, but their actions told a different story. My mom never received any help - she sat in bed all day with no help to get to the bathroom or even to go eat in the dining hall. We had no choice but to move her out after only 5 weeks. When the boss found out, she wasn't happy. We were let down by their lackluster service and wouldn't suggest it to anyone. This place isn't meant for those who can't walk around by themselves.

"Great care with friendly staff and engaging activities for residents"
My significant other has been at Belmont for about a year. The place is clean, comfortable, and nice. The staff are friendly and always help her. Belmont also keeps us informed and in touch with family. Dementia is tough on everyone, but Belmont handles it better than other places. They offer brain exercise classes that keep residents active. You should visit and see for yourself.

"Great Options and Care for Dementia Patients"
This place is pretty big with lots of choices. They have a great "Circle of Friends" program for people with dementia. The rooms are a bit old and small, but it's still a great choice.

"Beautiful atmosphere and caring staff"
My Dad has been here for about a month and a half, and things are going great. The staff is doing an awesome job taking care of my Dad and his dementia. The food is okay, but I wasn't too happy with it. We like our food spicy, and the food here is made for people who can't handle spice as well. They keep the place super clean, and it looks really nice. There are different levels of dementia care, and the more active group gets to go on outings once a week. They have a group called Circle of Friends for the higher functioning dementia residents. I like that Circle of Friends helps residents remember they aren't alone and have friends with them. The facility provides transportation to shopping centers for the more independent residents and takes them to various churches on Sundays. For daily activities, they have memory games, ping pong, billiards, happy hours on Thursdays, live music performances at least once a week, and sometimes dance performances too. There are also crafts and different kinds of holiday parties. There's a gym that residents can use regularly. Overall, it's just a beautiful atmosphere.

"Feels Like a Fancy Resort"
The Belmont Village was too fancy for us. It had pools on site and reminded me of a resort. It was also very expensive. The staff was friendly, and it was a nice place, but it wasn't the right fit for my mother.

"Great community for assisted living patients"
We picked this community for my dad. He didn't want to leave his home, so he's been pretty critical. His main gripe is that it takes staff 10-15 minutes to respond to his call buttons. It's especially frustrating during mealtime when he gets grumpy from hunger. I leave snacks in his room to make him more comfortable. Downstairs, there's a bistro with light snacks like coffee, water, fresh fruit, and pastries. The food is okay, considering they cater to everyone. Dad's trying different dishes, and overall, he enjoys them. He's even joining activities now, like events and history lessons. They play music in the afternoon, which is nice because he wasn't participating at all when he moved in. We chose this place because it's excellent for assisted living patients they have a nurse on every floor.

"Parents Stay Together with Great Cleanliness and Food"
My parents moved into an independent living apartment. I haven't seen the care services yet, but the place is very clean, has fun activities, and the food is amazing! The best part is that my parents can stay together even though my mom has dementia and other health problems. My dad takes care of her, and they've been married for 60 years. It would have been really hard for them to be apart.

"Independent Living Good, Dementia Unit Disappointing"
This place is okay if you're living independently. But it's a nightmare if you're in the dementia care unit! Calls for help aren't answered for hours. Given the staff's low pay, that's not surprising. My grandma's room was dirty until I had to tell the staff about it.

"Excellent care and activities make Belmont Village a top choice"
Belmont Village, Sabre Springs is a great spot for loved ones. We moved my 93-year-old mom into an independent unit this September. In just a few weeks, she's joined new activities, taken road trips, and attended the concerts they organize every weekend. We love that the Greek chef chats with her in Greek. It makes her feel at home, especially since she's new to San Diego after being widowed. It’s a big deal for her. The staff is amazing and ensures everything in her unit works perfectly. Thanks, guys! Lastly, the Executive Director is an excellent leader. Everyone enjoys working for her, and she genuinely cares about the quality of care for her residents. This is the best place for senior elder care!

"Nice facility, but communication could improve."
The assisted living facility was super clean and close to home. The staff was really nice, and there were lots of activities. Every time I went in, everyone was at a show. The only problem was that sometimes the staff didn't communicate well with each other. They should definitely work on that. Other than that, it's a really fancy place and the staff genuinely cares.

"Great new start for my 95-year-old mother-in-law at Belmont Village!"
Our time at Belmont Village has been wonderful. The staff made the move for my wife's 95-year-old mother very smooth. Belmont Village is very clean and has everything she needs to feel happy about living on her own again after her husband of 70 years passed away. She's a social person, and Belmont Village has given her lots of chances to make new friends. She's already joining bridge groups and music events, loves the food and restaurant dining, and her new hair salon is right next to her apartment! My wife and her brother feel we chose the best senior living place for their mom.

"Top-notch care for seniors!"
Belmont Village is worth every penny! I checked out many places for my in-laws, and this one was the best. They only complain about eating too much, LOL! Seniors deserve the best for their last years, and this place is top-notch. The food, staff, friendliness, and activities are amazing. I visit my family 4 to 5 times a week. If you love your family, money shouldn't matter. We can't take it with us when we die! Prices vary for different services like assisted living, independent living, dementia or Alzheimer's care, single or couple, medication help, bathing, etc. This is where I'd want to spend my years!

"Great Memory Care and Friendly Staff"
Everything at Belmont Village is always very clean. The staff knows everyone by name and greets them. It is pricey, but so is everywhere. The on-site nurse and staff check on all the residents regularly. I’m not sure about all the activities, but they take people on outings and have a yearly carnival for the residents. We chose this place because it has a Memory Care Unit, and they impressed us with their top-notch care.
