"Avoid Best Life Home Care: Neglectful, Expensive, and Unprofessional"
They moved my family member from here to a better place that actually cares about residents and their families. Best Life Home Care charged more than they should have, claiming it was because of hospice care. They were over [removed] a month, while other places in the area cost about [removed] a month. They hire undocumented workers, making it easy for them to fire staff without warning. One caregiver was fired unjustly. There were reports of residents being left in dirty diapers for too long. They also put phone calls on speaker, which is not private. This place really needs to be checked for compliance. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

"Inspect Before Choosing! Assisted Living Facilities Vary, Research Thoroughly"
Switched my relative from this residence to one that genuinely cares about its community and their loved ones... Best Life Home Care was billing my family member far more than their posted maximum online rates, blaming it on Hospice care - absolutely unreasonable, as other facilities don't do this. We were paying over [removed] each month! The average monthly rates in this region are around [removed]. Moreover, Best Life employs undocumented individuals to take care of the residents, allowing them to terminate them without warning or valid reason. This actually happened to one of the caregivers. I've also heard occasions where residents were left in soiled diapers for an extended time without being changed. They even put phone calls on speaker to eavesdrop on conversations - not everyone has hearing problems, and those calls should remain PRIVATE! This facility seriously needs to be inspected for compliance. I would definitely advise against it for anyone.

"Comfortable and Orderly Assisted Living in Residential Setting"
I visited an assisted living home in a neighborhood. It looked well managed, tidy, and clean. When I arrived, they were preparing lunch, and everyone seemed to eat together regularly. The clients were in the living room, knitting and watching TV in comfy chairs while waiting for lunch. There were more women than men, which wasn't quite what I was looking for, but overall, they have a nice daily routine, and the place feels bright and cozy.

"Bright and Comfortable Assisted Living Experience"
In a cozy neighborhood, the assisted living home looked well-organized and tidy. Lunch was being made when I arrived, and everyone seemed to have a routine of eating together at the table. The clients in the living room were relaxed, knitting and watching TV while waiting for lunch. Although there were more women than men, the daily routine felt pleasant and the atmosphere was cheerful.

"Wonderful care and activities; always happy and active residents"
I was surprised by the first review because it doesn’t match my experience. I think this place is amazing. They really care for everyone like a big, happy family. There are always hugs, kisses, and laughter. At the previous places my mom lived, the residents stayed in their rooms all day except for meals. Here, they bring everyone to the living room to spend the day. I can visit any time, day or night, and my mom and the other residents always seem happy. There’s always something happening, so they get lots of mental stimulation. I’ve told many people about this place and will keep recommending it.

"Low privacy, poor management, and deceptive pricing at assisted living."
At first glance, it was a neat and modern place. However, things went downhill pretty quickly. There's absolutely no privacy. Staff seldom knock before entering, even during personal times. They rummage through all belongings, including personal documents. Transport services aren't free, they ask for $20-$40 and there's no other means of transportation nearby. The pair who runs the place rarely communicate and aren't usually around together. They quoted one price, got the paperwork signed before it was complete, then increased the price by $200 monthly. Rental receipts aren't provided often. I'm really disappointed with how residents are treated here and definitely would advise against this place. This facility urgently needs an inspection by Social Services & tenant advocates.

"Steer Clear! Unjust Practices and Lack of Respect at Facility."
At first glance, this place seems welcoming and very well-kept. However, things rapidly went downhill. Total lack of privacy, they hardly knock before entering the room, even when you're getting dressed. They go through all your stuff, including your documents. They charge $20-$40 for each car ride, and there's no public transport nearby. The duo who runs this place barely communicates with each other and are hardly around at the same time. They told us one price, had her sign the paperwork when not everything was filled out, then made the price $200 more per month. To make matters worse, they rarely give out rent receipts. I'm really unhappy with how residents are treated and strongly advise against choosing this facility. This place urgently requires inspections by social services and a champion for the residents.
