"Dismal Review of Bethany Assisted Living Facility"
Where do I start? First off, this place is heavily understaffed. When my dad moved in, we provided his medication list. Yet, for some reason, they reached out to his old doctor, whom he hadn't seen in half a year, instead of using the current list. Keep in mind, his medicines had been adjusted during his three-month stay at a different rehab center. Despite this, Bethany Assisted Living seemed not to know how to handle it and discontinued two of his medicines. Not only is it poorly managed, but the facility itself isn’t up to par. It's grubby and dimly lit, and the temperatures feel like winter. Residents are crammed into a single tiny room during the day with barely any space to breathe. On one occasion, I spotted one of the staff washing dishes without soap or hot water and then placing them directly back into the serving bin. Unsanitary practices seem to be common here. I watched a staff member take a comb from a different room, use it on my dad, and then hunt down a brush from somewhere else to use on him. My dad even developed a severe bed sore while under their care. Visiting isn't easy either. You need to ring a doorbell to get in, and trust me, you’re going to be waiting quite a while. It's especially challenging on evenings and weekends when you may wait forever... I could say more, but...

"Great staff and clean, but needed more space for walking."
I would suggest this community to others. It could have been a good place for my father, but we needed a bigger community so he could walk more often. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. We would tell others about our positive experience.

"Staff lacked connection and information; expensive for value."
I toured this place for my loved one. Everything was okay, but I didn't feel a connection with the staff. They couldn't answer my questions. Also, it seemed too expensive for what they offered. In the end, it wasn't the right fit for us.

The staff is amazing. I have a few suggestions for Ari and his team, but kudos to everyone handling this daily.
