Blessing's Home Care

"Very Happy with Care and Facility"
We looked at a lot of care places for our aunt, and we picked Blessings because it was clean, quiet, affordable, and had caring staff. She got great care there until the day she passed away. We’ve gladly told others about Blessings because we were very happy with the owner, the place, and the care our aunt received.

"Wonderful Care and Comfort"
My mother has been at Blessings Home Care for about nine months. I checked out many places before finding this Board and Care facility. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the right place for my mom. It has surpassed all my expectations. The caregivers truly care about the residents. I visit my mom almost every day and see how well they treat everyone. I believe it’s because of their excellent care that my mom is happy and still with us. She often tells me how good they are to her. I’m very thankful to trust my mom’s care to these amazing caregivers.

"We highly recommend Blessings Home Care and their staff"
Blessings Home Care was recommended to us by a friend whose family member had been there for a while and was really happy with the care. I want to share our experience now. Our mom has been on hospice for seven months since coming to Blessings, and the care she gets is amazing. I truly believe if it wasn’t for the excellent care, she wouldn’t still be here. We see that all the residents get the same wonderful care. There is always one, sometimes two caregivers around. We can visit anytime, and the home is always bright and cheerful. Mom has lots of visitors, and they all say how great the place is. They’ve also had some fun holiday parties. Rodica has even brought us meals when we stayed for dinner.

"False Promises and Neglect at Assisted Living Facility"
If I could, I'd give this place zero stars. Honestly, where do I even begin... My mom lived here until she passed away. At the start, the owner, Rodica, assured us that mom would receive constant care from three on-site caregivers. This wasn't true. I faced multiple issues. For instance, the front door remained locked consistently, and I had to ring the bell two or three times before someone responded. Upon entering, I'd encounter a so-called caregiver who didn't understand English. The only English-speaking person was Rodica, and she was rarely around. On top of that, she'd have a personalized care plan for mom, like a daily routine. That was a lie. Here's what her "routine" looked like: breakfast at 7 am, two hours of TV time, a morning nap - but mom never napped - lunch, more TV or a nap, and dinner, followed by yet more TV or bed. None of the many times my family or I visited did we witness mom taking part in any exercise or outdoor activity. Rodica claimed that mom exercised daily and chose not to participate only on days we visited, but that was an outright lie. Another major issue was that they over medicated mom. Mom was prescribed tamazapam, and I believe they gave it to her to avoid the hassle of encouraging her to engage in activities. They don't have enough caregivers on staff. There were six residents and only around two caregivers working at any one time. Do not move your loved one into this facility. Please thoroughly research these types of homes!

"Best place for Mom’s care, loving staff, and great environment"
A friend told us about Blessings Home Care, saying it was great. When we visited, we saw it was different from other homes. It was spotless, bright, and tidy, and the staff was friendly and caring. We knew right away it was the right place for our mom. Since then, our choice has been confirmed. The staff is always loving, gentle, and kind. We enjoy visiting, and even though our mom is bedridden, they keep her moving and free from bed sores. They are also very kind to us as visitors. We’re glad we kept looking. This is the best care our mom could get. Even though she’s on hospice, she’s getting stronger with their care.
