BridgePoint at Los Altos

"Comfortable Living, But Room for Improvement"
I wanted to move from my lonely two-story, four-bedroom house after my wife of 51 years passed away. We had lived there our entire married life. I made a list of what I wanted in a retirement facility and looked at every place in the valley. BridgePoint met all my important points. The overall design and upkeep, inside and outside, are excellent. The weekly cleaning of my room and laundry is as perfect as you can imagine. The seasonal decorations are wonderful. Most residents use walkers and seem dull and disinterested. The dining and food prep areas are being updated right now, and the food is pretty bad. Most of the staff are kind and attentive. Some are perfect and wonderful, but a few don't seem to like their job, which affects the overall experience. Overall, I am happy here at BridgePoint.

"Friendly Staff, Clean Home, Outdated but Happy Living"
The workers were really nice. The building was neat and tidy. The living spaces were a bit old-fashioned, like from the 70s or 80s. The people living there seemed joyful and were nice to each other.

"Mom liked another place better, but tour was good overall."
We had a really nice tour at Bridgepoint in Los Altos. Everything about the facility was fine, but my mom felt more comfortable in the atmosphere of another place.

"Great Place with Friendly Staff and Decent Food"
This place is modern and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and attentive. The lobby bathroom was very clean. I saw studios and one-bedroom apartments, which had upgraded kitchenettes. The dining area is open from 7 am to 7 pm, so food is available all day. The selection is good, but the presentation and taste are just okay.

"Limited Care Options in Assisted Living"
This place doesn't offer ongoing care, so if you need more help later, you can't stay here.

My sister and I took a tour of the grounds and one of the apartments. My only concern is that the apartment was a bit too small. Other than that we loved the facility and the staff seemed very caring.

"Really happy with BridgePoint!"
My grandma loves living here. The staff are really caring, and she enjoys the activities and loves the food. They take great care of the community, and I’d recommend BridgePoint to anyone.

"Friendly staff, great food, and lots of activities!"
We really like this community, and my mother-in-law is slowly getting used to living here. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they have a core group that makes new residents feel welcome. They encourage her to join in on all the activities available. She loves the food, and even though there’s some construction going on, they keep everything very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Good visit, but not the right fit for mom."
This was a good visit, and I got all my questions answered during the tour. The place is clean, but it’s smaller than I expected, and I hoped for more variety among the residents. I also didn’t like the outside view. It’s just not the right fit for my mom.

"Great for active seniors!"
BridgePoint has a wonderful wellness program for residents, but it might not be for everyone. I recommend BridgePoint for those who don't need memory care and are still mentally sharp. My mother-in-law has complained a bit about getting clean towels. The director of personal care, is amazing. This is a wonderful place for active people, but it might feel isolating for those who can't keep up.
