"Review of Fairfield Assisted Living Facility Exceptional Care and Comfort"
This was my first time visiting a care home, and the only problem I had was that there weren’t any rooms available. He is an amazing facility manager he’s kind, polite, and really attentive. His mother works there too, and she’s wonderful. he even offered me a muffin and soda, which made me feel very welcome. The rooms were clean, well-kept, and cozy. Located right in Fairfield, this is a place where I’d feel totally comfortable if my mom could stay here.

"Dad Thrives and Is Happy at Bright Minds"
My dad stayed in two places before we found Bright Minds, and we’re all thrilled now. The home is gorgeous, and the staff are incredibly kind and professional. They treat my dad like he’s part of their family. He’s very happy there and has really improved both mentally and physically. We also like that the owner and his mom live and work there. Our family is so grateful for Bright Minds!

""Absolute Zero, Untrustworthy with No Activities""
This place gets a flat zero! At least it was neat. I didn't like the person in charge - total zero! That was my reason for leaving! He just kept trying to sell me stuff and I didn't trust him one bit. I was really upset with how they took care of me and the lack of things to do. They had no activities at all. The employees could have been nicer.

" "Kicked Out Over Family Disagreement: TSad Story of Bright Minds""
I was really happy with how they treated my 85-year-old mom at Bright Minds. She has Dementia, depression, and high blood pressure, and they took really good care of her - until they kicked her out because of an issue with my younger sister. Even though I, as her oldest daughter, had the legal right to make all her decisions, the guy in charge, Arnel, wanted more. He wanted me to stop my sister from taking my mom away from there. To cut a long story short, Arnel changed some legal paperwork I signed, and my mom had to leave a place she loved. When I finally got all the right papers from court, Arnel suddenly said there was no room for my mom. I talked to a lot of people at Bright Minds - bosses, nurses - and they all think Arnel didn't want my mom there because we're African American. Arnel could've worked things out with me and my lawyer. But he didn't. My mom was super sad, cried a lot, and missed her friends there. A month later I checked if they had any rooms -.Arnel said they were all booked. Everyone else at Bright Minds said Arnel should've accepted my legal right to take care of my mom and whatever rules I had about my sister. But Arnel insisted he needed more than that. He said a restraining order wasn't enough. He did my mom wrong, so I can't give a good review.

"Unhappy Guardian: Facility Disregards Power of Attorney"
My mom loved her time at Bright Minds' assisted living facility. She's 85 with dementia, depression, and high blood pressure. They kicked her out because of issues with my little sister. Even as the eldest daughter and holder of mom's power of attorney, the guy in charge wanted a restraining order to prevent my sister from taking Mom. Trying to keep my story short, I signed a form changed. I ended up pulling Mom out of Bright Minds, a place she really enjoyed. After getting all the right court papers, he said it was fully booked. I talked to tons of staff and they felt he didn't want Mom there. FYI, we're African American. He had just needed to cooperate with me and the law. He didn't. When Mom left, she was super sad and missed her friends there. So when I asked him a month later about vacancies, he said it was still full. Everyone I asked told me should've accepted my power of attorney for Mom. Any rules I made about my sister should've sufficed. But, no. Instead, he said he needed a restraining order, not just my power of attorney. Because of what happened to Mom, I can't give a positive review.

"Bright Minds Residential Care: Impressive Facility with Friendly Staff"
I visited Bright Minds Residential Care home today. It’s about 3 miles from my place and close to our church. I met with two staff members, but didn't get to speak with Arnel Silverio, the director. He’ll be back tomorrow, so I plan to talk with him then. The staff, who are Filipino, were very friendly and nice. The home is certified for memory care. Overall, I would rate this place as very good to excellent. The residents seemed well taken care of. I chatted with one gentleman for over 40 minutes, and he was happy living there. I met about two-thirds of the residents, and they all looked well-kept and active. I visited during lunch, and the meals looked tasty, like meatloaf, green salad, and mac and cheese. I’ve included a picture of the outside of the home, the weekly menu, and the activities schedule. There are also several photos on their Facebook page. The place was spotless, very clean and tidy with a modern interior. There were no unpleasant odors, and it had a pleasant atmosphere. I visited during lunch, and one resident was finishing up while others were reading or listening to music in the family room. The daily activities are scheduled throughout the day, and they celebrate Christian holidays, which would make Mom feel at home. The staff was friendly and had a good attitude. I felt very welcome and comfortable, and could have stayed the rest of the day talking with Don (a resident). The lunch looked nutritious, and I liked that the menu and activities schedule were posted in the main hallway. They also have daily morning exercise. The security systems seemed to be in good working order, with all exterior doors having decorative security features. The residents appeared well-groomed, with haircuts, clean nails, and tidy clothes. I didn’t discuss moving out, but overall, I felt comfortable enough to stay for dinner and even spend the night.
