"Friendly Staff, Communication Needs Improvement"
Overall, the staff are very nice and give good care. But it's hard to get in touch with the administrative staff. We found out there was a change in ownership the day after we moved my father-in-law in, and we hope things will get better.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks nice, like cozy cottages with pretty gardens. But they need more fun stuff to do, and their van isn't comfy for wheelchairs. It only fits two per trip. The food? Yikes. Sometimes it's burnt or too raw, too salty or bland. They serve tiny portions, and the food combos are weird. I bring my own meals there most of the week. They don't have enough staff.

"Mixed experience with assisted living, considering recommendation."
My mom didn't eat, they helped us move. Short-staffed, undecided.

"Needs Improvement in Care and Activities"
The shared spaces are nice and clean, but my family member's bathroom isn't as good, maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10. I think the staff should help residents join in more fun stuff instead of just staying in their rooms. They could make the food tastier, add different kinds of fun things to do, and help everyone feel more excited and part of the group. Like, they go on bus trips but just look out the windows without getting off to explore. Also, they mostly play bingo, and that's tough for my mom because she can't see very well, so it's not fun for her.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff at Elk Grove Park"
My loved one lives at Elk Grove Park and everything has been really good for her so far. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Communication with the family could be better. The move-in process was great. I would recommend Elk Grove Park to family and friends.

"Persistent Food Complaints Plague Assisted Living Facility"
My mother relocated to this place over two years ago. The food was decent for the initial six months she stayed there. Numerous complaints have been lodged by residents but all in vain. The previous chief cook was fired four months ago. The new one seems to be substandard or even worse. Many residents, including my elderly mom, suggest that the food at Loaves and Fishes is superior to what they receive here. The breakfast is passable but they serve too many dishes with tomatoes that are not suitable for senior folks. Moreover, the food lacks seasoning and flavor. A couple of nights back, a resident was so agitated that she took her food to the main kitchen and left it there. Consequently, folks in her cottage, including my mom refrained from eating that night. I'm exhausted and frustrated with the lack of action. Someone should get in touch with the Pegasus' CEO, and demand him to address these issues. For more than a year, complaints have yielded no results. I wouldn't recommend moving your family members here if you expect well-cooked meals. Furthermore, they seem to be understaffed.

"Comfortable Assisted Living in Residential Setting"
I really liked this place because it fits right into the neighborhood. Unlike a lot of senior living places near busy highways, it looks just like the nearby houses. The building is kept up pretty well, and the staff is friendly, although I think they could use more help, especially during meals. They seem a bit overwhelmed trying to help everyone eat and clean up at the same time. The communication between the doctors, patients, and nurses could be improved too. When it comes to cost, it's a little better than most of the other assisted living places around here. But it really depends on what your loved one needs.

"Flexible and Supportive Assisted Living"
We've had a nice time at Elk Grove Park. They're open to helping if you're unhappy with the service.
