"Understaffed Assisted Living Facility Struggles with Patient Care"
They don’t have enough caregivers in the department. Each shift doesn’t have enough people to help everyone, so patients have to wait. The girls are super busy.

"Mixed Experience at Brookdale Assisted Living"
Brookdale wasn't new and seemed a bit run-down. It's located on a busy road and isn't as clean as the newer [facility name removed]. During the tour, the assigned person didn't show up, so someone else had to guide us. Unfortunately, she couldn't answer our pricing questions. Also, the activities room looked more like a kindergarten with markers, colored paper, and uncomfortable chairs—not ideal for seniors with mobility issues.

"Unsuitable for those needing full care"
At first, everything seemed perfect. I stepped inside and it was spotless, just like home. I was in urgent need of a place for my spouse. But if your dear one can't fully take care of themselves, look somewhere else.

"Mixed Feelings at Assisted Living"
The place seemed nice, but it needs some updates. The food choices weren't great, but the residents appeared happy.

"Billing Process Needs Clarity"
They definitely need to make some improvements. I believe they should explain things more clearly during the initial process, especially when it comes to billing. We've encountered significant issues in that area.

"Brookdale Tackles Staff Shortage with New Hires"
This place is great to live in. The staff are super friendly. Sometimes it's a bit frustrating due to staff shortages, but Brookdale is always hiring to fix the problem.

"Mixed Experience with Cleanliness and Meals"
It's been hard to visit due to COVID rules. When we can, we notice our loved one's apartment is messy. Counters are cluttered with old dishes and crumbs. It's not as clean as we'd expect for the price we pay each month. Our loved ones aren't happy with the food. Breakfast is good, but lunch and dinner aren't. Meals are served late, and they're choosing not to eat in the dining room. There are activities offered, but our loved ones prefer to stay in their rooms.

"Clean and well-managed, but small rooms and no balcony."
I visited this place and it looked really nice and tidy. When I went there during lunch, I saw enough staff around in the dining area. The food didn't look bad either. But the rooms were small, just had a little fridge and microwave, and there wasn't any balcony.

"Assisted Living Concerns: Mixed Experience with Brookdale"
We've seen three different owners before Brookdale took over. It's been a mess. It takes ages for them to cash our checks. There aren't many activities like there used to be. Before, we had visitors come by with entertainment, but now, not so much. The medical technicians are great and do a lot, but we think they need more Resident Assistants, especially for those with Alzheimer's. The place is clean, and the meals are good, but the money trouble worries me. I hired a part-time caregiver to check on Mom daily.

"Alert: Brookdale's Troubling Changes Evoke Concern"
We've dealt with 3 previous owners before Brookdale outright failed. Horrible [Removed]. Sent checks take forever to go through, not until around two months later. The amount of activities being hosted have become scarce. There once were visiting entertainers who brought joy, but now it's a rarity. But the medical technicians are genuinely good and seem to do it all. Considering Alzheimer's, they could use more Resident Assistants. The place is clean and serves good food, but the monetary troubles make me really worried. I have a private caregiver who pops in daily to check on Mom.

"Ignored at Meal Times at Brookdale!"
At first, we thought Brookdale was great - it was neat and looked inviting. But then they invited us for a meal and it totally shifted our impression. We felt ignored as we sat there. I also noticed that the same thing was happening to the residents during eating times. The place we ended up choosing was absolutely different from this.

"A wonderful choice for Mom"
Brookdale was a great choice for my mom when she needed more care. The place is clean and bright, and the staff is really friendly and knows what they're doing. After just a few days, my mom's health and mood got better. Now, two weeks later, she's happier and even making new friends. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone who needs a good place for a parent or loved one.

"Person Seems Okay at Brookdale Lodi"
I don't know much about Brookdale Lodi because I'm not there all the time. There are both good and bad things about this place. The person seems okay. Overall, it's probably one of the better facilities, but I can't say for sure since I'm not there after hours.

"Transportation and Emergency Care Need Improvement"
The transportation to the doctor and back has been problematic. We often have to manage it ourselves because they are always busy. Once, there was an urgent situation, and the doctor needed to see him immediately, but they couldn't accommodate without prior notice. It's confusing because emergencies don't come with warnings. There's definitely room for improvement. It seems like the staff there have too much on their plate.

"Struggles with Transportation and Staff Overload at Assisted Living"
We've had some problems with medical transportation for my loved one at this assisted living facility. It seems they're always swamped, and offering transport to sudden doctor's appointments is out of their capability, so we end up handling it ourselves. I don't see how it's possible to give advance warning about an emergency. There's certainly room for this place to do better, but it seems like they're struggling to manage their current workload.

"Super accommodating and caring staff"
They were super accommodating. They really went out of their way for us. The staff was amazing. Sadly, we weren't there for very long. They did a great job while we were there. My loved one didn't like the food, and they tried hard to fix that.

"They Provide Excellent Diabetic Care"
The price is high, but they do more for my sister than anywhere else. We chose them because my sister is a delicate diabetic. She needs shots 4 times a day, and this was the only place that would give her the shots so she didn't have to do them herself. There's always a nurse there to give her the shots. They call me about everything. If she fell and stubbed her toe, they would call me. They're really attentive and watchful. Meal times are set at 8am, 12pm, and 5pm. If you miss it, you miss it.

"Great Place to Live, But Extra Costs Add Up"
This would be a wonderful place to live! However, the price of the room doesn’t include things like help with medication or even someone to walk you to meals. To get help with medication, it costs more each month.
