"Great place for independent living with support and socializing"
I think this is a great place for someone who wants their own space but doesn't want to worry about making meals or cleaning their apartment. There's also a chance for socializing. When more care is needed, it's important to talk to the caregivers often because many staff members come and go all the time.

"Review: Disappointing Facility Experience Raises Concerns"
I wish I could rate this center zero stars. I was checking it out for my mom because I care a lot for her but I can't always provide the level of care she needs while raising my young daughter. I really want my mom to live somewhere fun and active where we can visit her often. A Place for Mom helped me set up a tour, but this facility rescheduled. They were rude on the phone and criticized A Place for Mom who have been great at helping me find the best place for my mom. When they informed me about the new tour time, I called to verify if I could still come at my initial time. They said yes, but when I got there, parking was hard to find. Once I got in, the center appeared dull and run-down. I felt like the facility was just somewhere to stash the elderly.

"Good place, but food and smoking policies need improvement"
This is a good place for your loved one. I suggest looking into the food options more since my loved one and others don’t really like it. Smoking is not allowed inside the building, but I wish they were stricter about making sure smokers only smoke in the designated areas. The monthly fee includes laundry and housekeeping once a week.

"Mixed Feelings: Assisted Living Facility Review"
It's been a bit tough with COVID, but mostly okay. We asked them to fix some blinds, but it took a while. It'd be nice if they helped new folks meet others. Meals are brought to rooms; my loved one feels lost sometimes. They're friendly on the phone. Toilet paper in the public bathroom is often missing. No bad smells; place looks clean. Overall, I'd suggest it to others.

"Great Assisted Living Community with Awesome Staff!"
This place has been really good for my dad, and I'd totally recommend it for you or your loved one. They've got cool stuff like a program for residents with MCI, happy hour, weekly outings, movie time, and holiday activities. The staff is awesome and always around—I'm a big fan!

"They treat us like royalty!"
This place is everything we hoped for and more. They give my sister and me everything we need and treat us like royalty. The whole place feels warm, cozy, and just like home. The food is great, the menu is great, and they have an awesome chef. You can even ask for a special meal, and they'll make it for you. For activities, they have live entertainment, lots of get-togethers, bingo, poker, and bible study. I would totally recommend this place. They give us everything we could want.

"Mixed experience but overall satisfactory; family-friendly environment"
This place has some room for improvement. It's not very clean, and the elevator floor is often sticky. Also, it could use some updates. The dog park, which looks nice online, isn't well maintained. Despite these issues, residents are generally content. They tidy up the apartments weekly, and there's a charming small patio. The dining area is lovely, and the food is good. They offer enjoyable activities like whale watching and music and dancing on Wednesdays. Overall, I'd recommend it to friends and family.

"Expect an outdated, neglectful nursing home experience."
When we first visited, the place felt like one of those dated, worn-out nursing homes. As soon as we entered, we were met with the expected, but still unpleasant, aroma. It certainly gave off vibes of a place where people are biding their time. The facility comes across as old, with no apparent efforts made to spruce it up in recent times. They really should put in more effort in maintaining it. I have no doubt this place would have made her feel uneasy. I'd advise against choosing this facility.

"Convenient Location, Clean Facility, and Friendly Staff"
This place works well for my dad, and it's near my sister and me. I haven't noticed any issues with how they keep his room and the place tidy. My dad isn't participating in many activities, but we're nudging him toward the exercise class. I've noticed that the ladies here are more social and active. Overall, the staff are pretty good and suit my dad well. He has a variety of meal options, and they're mostly soft. From what I've seen, the meals are okay and pretty decent.

The meals taste good, are a good size, and are always served at the right temperature. They have many activities like bingo, field trips, and other things in the lobby. We chose this place mainly because of its location, and the cost is reasonable.

"Exceptional Activity Director"
The person in charge of activities at this place convinced me to move my loved one here. He's really great and spends extra time with my dad to make sure he's taken care of. But there are problems with unkept promises and communication between staff and me. The meals need more variety, especially different meats like chicken and turkey. Unfortunately, the nearby hospital is terrible and where my dad goes during emergencies.

Because the staff and community are so helpful and welcoming, I would recommend this place to anyone. Our family really likes it here.

The assisted living facility seems comfortable and friendly, like a beautiful woman. But what really matters is what's on the inside. Mom has been there for a few weeks, and we've helped her adjust to the new routine. Last week, things got a bit challenging, but my sister (who lives in Corona) spoke to the staff. We'll work closely with Mom to ensure she follows the procedures, and we trust that Brookdale Magnolia will improve. A Review so Far!

"Decent facility but lacks comprehensive assistance for all residents."
My family member stayed here for some time, and it was good. This place offers both independent living and some help for those who need it, but eventually, we required more assistance than they could give. They can't force residents to do things they need to do but don't want to. Nevertheless, it's a pleasant place.

"Great Care, Fun Activities, and Beautiful Updated Rooms"
The cost depends on the services you choose. For us, my father-in-law is on a plan where they give him his medication twice a day and make sure he gets to all his meals. They do a lot for us, and the care is excellent. The activities are amazing! I just wish he would join in more because they’re really fun! The activity director is fantastic. Every Friday, they have a happy hour with different themes. During the week, they even take the residents out. Recently, they went on a bus to pick peaches and apricots at a farm. What I really appreciate is their communication with us. When he fell, they called us right away, even though it was late at night. They made sure he got to the hospital and back safely. They have been wonderful in helping him settle in there. They recently updated their building, and while it’s not completely finished yet, it looks beautiful! My father-in-law has a room that’s been completely renovated with granite counters, new tile flooring, new carpet, and new cabinets.

"Pretty Place, Poor Care and Negligible Response to Concerns."
My mom was just placed in a room and then ignored. I was really disappointed. Everything started out fine, but then it just got worse. The nurses didn't know what they were doing and didn't seem to care. On weekends, there were no helpers around. I wasn't even sure if she was getting her medicine. When the renovations began, the place went to pieces. It's a lovely building, but the care and attention were awful. I tried having a conversation with the people in charge but got nothing but a runaround.

"Decent, Affordable Living But Mom Would Need Immediate Assistance"
This place is okay, though it feels more like a home for healing than some of the others. My Mom would need to start in assisted living right away because she uses a walker. That also means she wouldn't have her own kitchen. Still, it's not as pricey as some places. Plus, they play a lot of bridge here and I like how all residents have emergency call pendants to wear.
