"Billing Issues Resolved"

The place looks nice and clean, and the people living here seem happy. But the bills aren't clear, and we got charged for things we didn't actually get. Thankfully, they fixed it after we talked to the billing department.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

I really liked the director and staff. Activities were good, residents active. Disappointed by old building, location, and parking. Called front desk, got into parking quickly, but little street parking. Garden courtyard nice, but wished for more trees and space. Will visit again, but too far from family.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"

I really liked the boss and the staff I met. The activities were fun, and the residents were active. However, I was let down by the old building and the location and parking situation. When I called the front desk, they let me into their parking quickly, but there's hardly any street parking, and their parking garage isn't very big. The garden courtyard is nice, but I wish there were more trees and open space, especially since it's on noisy Reseda Blvd. Despite this, I plan to visit again.

"Curious About a Second Visit"

My mom really liked the big rooms and spacious closets. She had some food concerns, but she’s curious about a second visit with a meal.

"Caring Guide and Happy Residents"

Our guide knew a lot and was super helpful. She cared about my mom and gave great advice. Impressive and kind. The facility seemed well managed, and residents were content.

"Great Place with Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities"

My aunt lives here now and she's happy and settling in well. The community is very clean, and housekeeping comes once a week to clean her apartment and do the laundry. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they encourage her to join the daily activities. They even have a movie room! There’s a nice little courtyard in the center. The dining area looks nice with cloth tablecloths, and the food is good, though sometimes it’s not hot enough. The admissions and director were great to work with. In her studio apartment, she has a little fridge and microwave. I would recommend this place.

"Facility Impresses with Layout, Price, and Amenities"

We liked the facility's layout, colors, and Large Studio unit. Great price and amenities!

"Caring Community with Room for Improvement"

My uncle is doing okay at this community. They’re trying their best to care for him. It’s a lovely place, and the staff is kind and caring. Sometimes I ask for his room to be cleaned better, but they respond quickly. The general areas are kept clean, and there are great activities for residents. However, he’s not too pleased with the food variety. Overall, he’s in good hands.

"Warm and Welcoming Community with Great Meals, Limited Parking"

Brookdale North Tarzana is a warm and friendly place, from the staff to the residents. The area looks nice and the meals are excellent with lots of choices. My only issue is that parking for family and visitors is tough and limited. I would happily recommend this Senior Living Community.
