"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living place had some good stuff. My mom liked going on the trips and hanging out with others. The building was nice and the food was good. But sometimes there weren't enough workers, and they didn't always answer calls or emails. Also, the billing system wasn't great.

"Friendly Community with Helpful Staff"
The folks seemed really happy, and it felt like a friendly community. The tour guides were super nice and took their time explaining everything.

"Attentive Care in Clean, Spacious Setting"
Certainly! Here's the revised review: "[Name removed] received great care in memory care. She enjoyed the food but wished for more outdoor space. Despite pandemic restrictions, the clean, spacious place had attentive staff." And the headline: . 😊

"Great Care and Lots of Activities, but a Bit Pricey"
It is a little pricey, but we think it’s similar to other places. The staff members are wonderful, the care is efficient, and they are quick on their feet. Our father says the meals are almost too much, and I’ve had a couple of meals there, and the cooks are very good. They have a lot of activities for the residents to do, and they are just now starting to go out on outings again.

"Ideal for independent seniors with diverse care needs and activities."
This place is like a fancy hotel, perfect for anyone who wants that. It's great for my dad because he likes feeling independent. I like that he has his own little apartment and privacy, but there's always stuff happening right outside his door. I picked this place because they offer different levels of care, and back then, both my parents could get what they needed here. That's what makes it special to me, the different kinds of care they offer. The staff were really helpful, and overall, it was a really nice experience.

" Brookdale's Misleading Practices, Poor Maintenance, and Hidden Costs Unveiled"
At first glance, Brookdale in Paso Robles seems inviting, tidy, and ideal for the elderly. However, a more thorough examination reveals that this facility is not properly staffed or maintained. If you plan to enroll a loved one here, be warned - the expenses associated with the center will keep piling up. Moreover, you'll consistently be charged for amenities that you'd typically anticipate being a part of the usual monthly fees. My father's bathroom was in a terrible state when he moved in, and the staff informed me that they only clean on Mondays, except when it's a holiday. Additionally, the staffing levels at the residence are inadequate, and I was informed that there's no specific staffing ratio required for such a facility. My dad was only there for one week before I decided to move him out, and my numerous calls to voice my concerns were routinely ignored. Please study the entire contract attentively and demand a written outline of all future charges, as the lack of honesty and transparency from the administration is striking. I strongly discourage anyone from considering Brookdale in Paso Robles. It's a classic bait-and-switch situation, so be sure to look past the polished tour and enticing marketing promises.

"Assisted Living Review: Food Okay, Seating and Availability Disappointing"
The food wasn't that great. They make you sit in assigned seats for meals, which makes it feel less like eating at a restaurant and more like being controlled in an institution. I didn't enjoy it, and I don't think my parents would either. Also, they didn't have any two-bedroom units available. Besides those things, it was alright.

"A Welcoming Community with Room for Improvement"
My mom and sister visited a few different places, but when I showed them this one, my mom instantly loved it. Her apartment is spacious, and she's making new friends. The food is good, though there's room for improvement. The staff is wonderful overall, but communication could be better in some areas. The community's location is perfect—close to family.

"Great place for Dad"
My dad just moved here recently and he's doing fine. I feel good about how the staff takes care of him, and I'm not worried when he's here. He likes the food and joins in activities sometimes. I would definitely tell others to consider this place.

"Disappointing Additional Charges at Assisted Living Facility"
We paid $6300 for memory care, but got hit with more fees: $275/month for help to meals, even though Mom often walks alone with her walker. $75/month for assisted showers. Paying $75,000 a year, these extra fees feel unfair.

"Nice place, but food and activities need improvement"
This is a nice place to live. However, the food could be much better and often isn't available as promised. They have fun activities, but my mother-in-law isn't very active. The place is clean and the staff is friendly, but I would recommend looking at other options for your loved ones.
